Excellent salmon roe at a very good price
This is a large quantity and arrives frozen. I left it thaw in the refrigerator and they scooped it into smaller jars which I also bought on Amazon. I put the jars in the freezer and use them as I need them. Refreezing the roe did not affect its consistency or flavor. These are nice large eggs that pop when you eat them. Hard as a rock
This is my second time ordering and I will never do it again. While flavor is satisfactory the roe is hard to break. I am under impression I am eating plastic. Such waste of money 😒

Good quality
Arrived quickly via Fedex, nicely packed, with ice packs 60% remaining solid. Presentation is good, but tin little bit tricky to open, I used oyster knife and cant close it back firmly. I didnt realize that "best before" is just one week after packing. According to box it was packed the day it was shipped. So I am freezing a half, taste will be slightly different but thats fine. Overall, great taste and texture.

The can I received said the roe contains borax. The picture on your ad doesn't say that nor did I see borax in your description. Careless.

Last two times
I have ordered this caviar 3 times. First time it was really good. Last two are below average. The caviar is crumpled, lot of smashed berries and full of liquid. Really bad experience

Delicious - 2nd time we've had it
It arrived perfectly chilled. This is the second time we've ordered the 1kg tin. We opened it after about 2 weeks sealed in the refrigerator last Sunday night (I'm writing this review on Tuesday morning) and spread it on thinly-sliced toast from a breadmaker white bread load and it was what we we're hoping for - perfectly salted, gooey and ocean tasting in the way you want your caviar to taste, not overtly fishy but delicately so. Since the directions say to eat it within 3 to 4 days when the tin has been opened we finished it off last night. I read all the 1 star reviews and they could be lying (which competitors are known to do), they left the tin in the refrigerator past the 60 days recommended (and hence couldn't dispute the credit card charge) or they did get a bad product and didn't bother to contact the company in time for them to either receive a credit or get another tin shipped. Regardless, we will definitely order more next year, it's an indulgence for sure but you really do get a lot of delicious fresh caviar which you can't find locally. And my advice is to open that tin BEFORE you get your credit card bill with the charge listed and before 60 days have passed, that way if it genuinely is bad you can contact the seller and/or dispute the charge with your CC company.

Very good, best I’ve found.
Excellent.This salmon roe is a nice size and almost all whole, have only a moderate amount of salt, a great mouth feel, and taste very fresh.I tried a few others but they were too salty and at least a bit flat. I was very surprised by the difference between this and those others.
