Cost Savings For Fixing Vehicle DVD Screens!
Worked exactly as needed; replacing the OEM cable ribbon in our dvd screen in our suburban. Took approx 45 minutes to replace; most of the time is taking the dvd screen apart to access the cable ribbon connections. Saved $$$ instead of taking to a dealership!

Great! Used in 2016 Escalade
Worked great in our Escalade. First pictures are from the OEM ribbon. Last pictures are the product of 20. Seems like a pattern for GM. The OEM seemed hard and restrictive. You can tell that it was crimped and caused it to fail. This product is very flexible and able to be free. I did line both side with electrical tape to help protect. Be careful when take the screen cover apart. Alot of the snap failed as well.Pop the two plastic bolt covers off with small flat head. You will need 7mm socket to remove the 4 bolts holding unit in ceiling. It has to plugs to un do and hangs on a hook. The two bolts closer to monitor have retainer washers to help install. Plenty of youtube videos to take it from here and dyi of needed.***The contacts are not gold plated like OEM***

Fixed our suburban TV screen
This saved the front overhead TV screen in our 2016 Suburban LTZ. Stripped it down and replaced it without issues.

Used for Toughbook CF-U1 SSD Mod
I've got several Panasonic Toughbook CF-U1's with n hard drives. The only option for these was an SSD modification using an 'mSATA to CE ZIF 1.8 inch SSD to 40 pin ZIF CE Cable Adapter Converter' and an SSD. This cable was required for the modification, but the 200mm was a bit overkill. No big deal. What I didn't like was the fact that the stiffener on the end is attached to the cable completely, This makes the cable WAY too stiff and unable to bend at the end. I guess in certain cases that may be preferable, but most cables have the stiffener separate not fully attached to the cable. Overall, I'd recommend these. They work fine.

Cheap and easy fix
At first I thought these wouldn't work bc they were not as thick as the one that came out but I put it in hooked the tv back up and MAGIC! I have a 2016 Yukon XL and I fixed the first row. I'm glad these came in a pack of 20 for only $6!!!
