Best 1440p oled right now
This monitor is incredible. Smooth as butter gameplay. Deep blacks. Auto screen clean when I’m done on the pc for the day and it detects no input. Premium as can be with metal stand and design. Came packaged great. The image clarity is phenomenal. I’ve had asus oleds and other asus ips, and friends that have Alienware QD-oleds. This thing has the best picture I’ve seen in an oled and the text clarity is great. I 100% recommend this monitor.I was going to write off oled monitor tech and stick with ips and mini led but this monitor changed my mind. I have a LG C3 as well and I believe Lg just makes the best oleds. The height adjust is perfect I don’t need a monitor stand anymore as this can raise very high. The ambient lighting on the back is a nice touch. I’ve gone through two other asus monitors trying to find the right for me and decided on this. No regrets and I’m sure you won’t either.

Perfect for my needs, some questionable reviews
There are some questionable reviews on this monitor. I’ve been using this monitor since early February. The only downside is even though it’s listed at dp 2.1 but it isn’t the full speed, requiring you to run it with DSC, which honestly hasn’t been an issue for me so far. People are saying the brightness is too low and I disagree completely. I’m willing to bet they didn’t know about the peak brightness increase in the settings. This panel gets extremely bright and rivals the brightness of my lg c1 OLED at high peak brightness in hdr. Also someone mentioned a lack of panel care settings and I also disagree, as there are 4 different pixel shifting modes to choose from, panel cleaning when in sleep, and dimming when displaying static content for long periods of time. Someone also mentioned not being able to tell if the monitor was asleep due to no front light, but there is an led ambient light on the back is you choose to enable it that serves the exact purpose they’re complaining about. If you can catch this monitor for $100+ off, it’s an insanely good panel. Impeccable response times, 480hz, bright hdr, amazing black levels, great build quality and stand, there’s not much more I could ask for in a display. I’ve been enjoying games old and new on this panel at extremely high frame rates and I can never go back. 480hz feels like looking through a window, the motion clarity is something you have to see in person

Very happy with it, OSD button can be finicky at times
So I use oled for primarily console gaming (Xbox series x) only. I previously had the 27gs95qe, this is a step up, I’ve noticed better hdr brightness, and finally lg unlocked the black stabilizer in hdr mode, (on the older 27gs model it was locked out), and can also have a personalized picture mode too, although I’m running it at 4k 120 (Xbox downscales it), I’m happy with the performance, motion clarity colors and brightness, text clarity is decent. Overall can’t beat oled for gaming. Also matte coating does a great job in bright rooms keeping blacks dark and inky.Update: unfortunately, after 2 months it has stopped working properly, intermittently the joystick/power button at the bottom will stop responding to anything at all, even causing hdr to stop working properly, and sometimes it won’t display a signal at all even if my hdmi is plugged in from my Xbox, only work around is to unplug it plug it back in. Idk if I got a bad unit or if it’s happens to others too. Might just be a bug or something.

LG cooked with some heat here.
Bright even at 50% in SDR, VIVID oled my panel did not have weird dirty whites like some claim upon setup but I also recommend color calibration these colors are very nice in HDR. Great monitor heavier than I was expecting panel settings in windows claim it can do 4k as well, have not tried that 1440p is why I bought the panel. Extremely fast response out of the box.

Stay Away - Don’t make the same mistake I did.
Monitor is absolutely horrible playing any game at 60hz, the input lag makes playing any game at this refresh rate a genuinely terrible experience, to the point of actually being unplayable, how LG could overlook something like this on a $1k USD monitor is incredible. Stay away.

TERRIBLE FLICKER, otherwise, a great monitor.
I wanted to love this monitor but anything outside of gaming, it will flicker terribly. I was running the newest version of a reputable DP cable and it still turned out terrible. I returned the item and will wait a couple more years for it to get ironed out, I went to the Acer Predator X34 X5 and stuck with 240hz with my 5090. Hope this helps.

Good but could be better
This is a good monitor with tons of potentials. I enjoy the oled and high refresh rates. Color looks decent and definitely clean. However I returned it for two reasons: 1. The display port doesn’t work with anything if you are running non native resolutions. Like I tried with CS2 and Marvel Rivals and had tons of issues. You can look it up annd others have the same issues. Only way to get it working is to use the hdmi 2.1 cord. I feel like a monitor cost over $1000 should have these things worked out.2. It’s just too expensive and not perfect so I returned it. But I still bought another one from other places which were in sale for much less price. In the end it’s a good monitor that does what I wanted, wish the display port would work better though.
