Finnex Steam Generator 4.5kw
Quality Steam GeneratorThe Finnex steam generator was purchased to replace a Halo 4.5kw unit which had cost over £1300, the build quality of this replacement unit was of a standard equaling the old unit.The new generator was mounted in the exact same way as the old one using the same mounting holes, the only difference was the size of the steam pipe, the new one was 15mm whereas the old one was 22mm.The new system was hard wired using 2.5mm SWA,all the holes in the shower cubicle from the previous unit- steam outlet- control panel & temperature control module were used, this system was extremely easy to install with the garage being adjacent to the shower room which enabled all the power supply- water & steam pipe work to be hidden, this has made the job easier and perfect.The installation was made easy by using good quality fixtures and fittings, the whole system also benefits from having the pipe work insulated.The electrical isolation of the shower is by a lockable rotary isolation switch.

No steam
I bought this product in 2022 and it was working fine for the past 2 years, but now all of a sudden it has stopped producing steam. I have tried everything. It is hard to fine someone to help me. I should probably have read the reviews but I thought I’d get more than 2 years out of it

Just buy it!!!
So far so good, can't believe I have my own sauna at home works very well, got a plumber to install it and electrician to wire it in during extension being built so they did all the work so can't say if it was an easy install but it works brilliantly im in it everyday and it's amazing

Impossible to get parts.
It needs to be descaled regularly. The whole generator need to be taken off to do this. Also the heating elements needs to be changed. Impossible to get part or after sales service from anyone in UK. Avoid !

Important factors
I’ve come across several steam generators while working in gyms . The key features I look doe are auto drain and consisted steam production .Cheaper generators lack these while expensive ones often have the exact same components . This model offers good quality at reasonable price. The seller for the fee promptly replaced cable I’ve damaged and supplied a set of replacement elements.Highly recommended.

Works perfectly, but
When the unit is switched off water continues to dribble out of the steam outlet pipe. Difficult to get any trouble shooting help. Is this a common problem?
