Worth the price!
These things made training our German Shepherds much easier! I would warn you, like the instructions say, start low. I couldn’t imagine having these on the highest level. Our dogs learned on one of the lower level and when it went off, they reacted instantly. We’ve had the collars for almost a year now and they still look brand new. These collars are very powerful, and for the price, they should be. We love them. They’ve seen all kinds of weather and have been very sturdy.

Great Functionality, Durability and Easy to Use
I've been using the Dogtra 1900x for a couple of months. It’s a significant upgrade from my previous Dogtra model. The button placement is much easier to use and program. And I can carry fewer transmitters with the ability to add a 3rd dog. Compared to a previous PetSafe product, it has really allowed me to fine-tune my dog’s training with much lower stimulation levels, which wasn’t possible with PetSafe, where I was always at 100% power, so it might tingle him.Pros:Robust—This collar can handle stubborn dogs, making it reliable when my dog is full of drive or if an emergency might occur.Battery life—The battery lasts longer on both the remote and collar, so there are fewer recharging requirements. USB-C charging is a huge plus.Minor Cons:LED light—The LED only flashes instead of staying on constantly. This will help with battery life, but it would be more helpful for visibility during night use.Contact points—I highly recommend using the titanium points. They solved an issue I had with spots on my dog's neck. They’re a must if you’re concerned about skin sensitivity.

1902 vs 1900X
This is an amazing collar. Been using this for my 2 dobermans and it works great. My dogs have been swimming in lakes with these and they are definitely waterproof.I saw dogtra came out with a 1900X version which I saw and the moment I realize it has a selector switch to switch between dogs and I absolutely hate this idea. I like that I can call both dogs back to me at the same time. I don't have to look at my controller to see which dog is selected. In a panic situation let's say your dog starts to chase a squirrel and is running towards a busy street, you would have to look to see which dog is selected and when you hit the selector switch, you would have to make sure it switched dogs, whereas the 1902 model you can vibrate or shock both dogs at the same time and you know which dog you are stimulating by touch. You never have to look at the remote.

Reliable and Powerful Upgrade for Stubborn Dogs
I've been using the Dogtra 1900x for a couple weeks now and, overall, I'm impressed. It’s a significant upgrade from my previous PetSafe model and has really allowed me to fine-tune my dog’s training with much lower stimulation levels, which wasn’t possible with PetSafe, where I was always at 100% power so it might tingle him.Pros:Excellent remote – very user-friendly and functional.Powerful – this collar can handle even the most stubborn dogs, which makes it reliable for when my dog is full of adrenaline or drive.Great battery life – battery lasts long on both the remote and collar, so I’m not constantly recharging it. USB-C charging is a huge plus.Minor Cons:LED light – the LED only flashes instead of staying on constantly, which would be more helpful for visibility during night sessions in the park or field.Contact points – the standard contact points caused some pink spots on my dog’s neck, but switching to titanium points solved the issue. It’s a must if you’re concerned about skin sensitivity.Weight: Both the remote and collar are a bit heavy, but it does give it a more premium feel.In summary, the Dogtra 1900x has been reliable so far and is a far better choice than my PetSafe e-collar.

Effective, Humane, and Easy to Use
The Dogtra collar has been a game-changer for us and our dog. It works wonderfully with an impressive range, and the best part is that we rarely, if ever, need to use the shock function. The vibration mode is enough to get our dog's attention without causing any discomfort, which we really appreciate. Our dog is a beloved member of the family, but she needed a little extra help beyond obedience school to reinforce what she learned. This collar has been the perfect tool for that. The adjustable shock levels are a thoughtful feature, allowing us to customize it based on size and needs, though we haven’t needed to use it much.Overall, this collar is effective, humane, and easy to use. It’s given us peace of mind and helped us communicate better with our dog. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reinforce training!

Peace of mind,,UPDATED
Haven't really used it yet seems well built on a charger now I can tell you though in testing on my finger that one pretty much feels like nothing and it is a very slight gradual increase in static so you can really find tune what's appropriate for your specific case. The options are nice with the pager function you can Buzz as a warning before you have to take it to that next level it gets their attention and so forth and the light I can see being a really good idea especially at night if the animal is running around at all in eyesight or when trying to locate up and down streets to see a bright light flashing all over as the dog may be running in the event that it is on the loose...Updated this has been helpful in the reason stated previously as well as off leash training is going faster and smoother as well recently having just called her name out when in a mix of other dogs at the dog park and she was able to hear me and come back without the beep or the buzz still haven't had to escalate to static as of yet.
