Perfect for the beach.
Perfect for the beach. We got this open face tent for our trip to the beach. It was perfect to use to get out of the sun. It is a good quality tent. The fabric is pretty sturdy. It held up to the gusty ocean breezes. It's big enough for two people to be in and hold all your personal belongings. I liked that we were able to put our personal belongings in towards the back and not have to worry about our stuff getting stolen. I feel it made it more difficult for anyone to go through your stuff without you noticing. Definitely recommend.

How ro make it great.
The tent is easy to set up and take down and it looks great. However, you will need to buy six heavy duty aluminum 12" sand stakes and 6 small bungee ball cords. Total on Amazon $25 approx. The ball cords will loop through the existing stake corners allowing space for the aluminum tent pegs. The provided stakes are completely useless in sand and would bend easily on grass. Also the tent bag is too small, making repacking difficult. Why make such a beautiful tent then add useless sand stakes and allow for very difficult repacking???

Pink Beach Tent
It was picked out by my children after breast cancer and we have been using it since! Has UV protection for myself and grandbaby. Easy set up by pulling up with the lock feature. Sand holds it down! A plus! Has little curtains to block or allow light or air!Been caught in the rain before, it blocks the water except the windows.Remember to wash off sand immediately because it will rust.Mine has some small spots, but it’s been taken care of!Worth the spend. Value for my monies..or should I say the kids!

Easy to set up and dismantle- convenient.
We normally rent an umbrella when at the beach because despite my best efforts I can never get my own deep enough into the sand to stay steady. :(I saw this tent for a fraction of the cost of a rental over week- the duration of our beach vacation. And took a chance. :) I am glad I did.I ordered it in advance of our trip. And thanks to the amazing reviewer with detailed set up and dismantling instructions including photos - we didn’t even bother with the instructions. We set it up in the living room. My almost eleven year old son enjoyed “camping” in it. Very, very easy to set up and take down.It is very compact and fits into our SUV comfortably with our all our luggage.Carrying it to the beach was very easy for me. Setting it up was even easier! The sand bags are excellent and make it super easy to weigh it down. The tent provides shade and depending on how you angle it - you can enjoy it all day long at the beach.4 persons however is a stretch. It comfortably accommodated two people at a time and maybe a child - playing cards say. But anything more than that will be a tight fit. There is a lot of detail in this product, the design of the sandbags, the easy set up and dismantling, the little windows, the ease of packing it up, sand dusts off easily and it is water proof. We bought it on sale in Amazon and it was definitely worth the purchase. :)Another reviewer had a good tip- check the beach rules to make sure that tents are allowed. We used our in Ocean City, MD and there were no problems. With the money you will save with this tent, you can still generously tip the college kids peddling beach rentals of chairs and umbrellas. :)

Great convenient design and super easy to set up!
One of the most important things when it comes to beach tents or beach shelters or whatever you want to call these things, is the ease of putting it up and breaking it down. My wife and I had several of these in the past and find that this one is extremely easy to pop up and take down. Amazingly easy and quick, for that matter! So in our opinion, whoever came up with this design should get a raise. This also goes for the “privacy option”, which allows you to quickly fold up a part of the “floor” to change into some dry clothing right there and then. The manufacturer advertises 30 seconds for setting the tent/shelter/thingie up and folding it back together and we find this to be accurate and not an exaggeration. Pushing it back into its nylon carrying bag afterward is a slightly different matter, but as far as the two steps prior are concerned, this product is GREAT. Build quality seems to be solid but we’ve only had it for a few days now so we will have to wait and see how it holds up in the long run.My wife initially felt that the packaged tent was slightly too large to conveniently carry it, and compared to our previous ones, I also find its size to be borderline for our needs. However, this strictly pertains to bulkiness, not weight. And after we saw how easy it is to set it up and break it down, we immediately decided to keep it without hesitation: Ease of operation clearly won over our concerns regarding size when folded and schlepped.

Lightweight and Easy Up
Just got this today. I set it up in the backyard. I found the instructions on the inside of the carry bag AFTER I had it up. Very intuitive and quick setup. It's roomy inside, I'd say 3 adults, or two adults and a couple kids. The fabric is on par with most tents and the poles are sturdy. There are two inside mesh pockets and a hanging hook in the center. The two side windows are mesh with flaps that secure inside. This isn't a good shelter for rain heavier than a drizzle. The extra flooring in front folds up to create privacy. The tent stake loops on the front flooring double as loops to go over the top front poles for added security. There are also 2" strips of hook & loop along the seams in the front. They don't feel strong, so I'm happy to be able to put the loops over the poles. Putting it away was a bit harder than setting up. The fabric is light weight and doesn't like being rolled back into the storage state. I managed both setup and teardown alone. Setup 3 minutes, teardown 7 minutes. I must say, this thing is LIGHT! I've carried camp chairs that are heavier than this.I'm taking it to the beach next month and will update how it handles wind and sand.
