Less then one star, arrived broken and missing pieces. Stated it was like new 😫 was broken before shipping and missing 1 antenna and clearly broken off attachment for antenna, rattling inside , very disappointing as it clearly states “like new”

First, what I disliked about it: 1) The instructions that came with it are a very poor rendering of Chinese into English. It took several re-reads to understand what they were saying. A native speaker should be the one preparing the manuals. 2) In keeping with #1, what's needed is an operating manual that goes into detail about such fine points as optimal antenna position, scanning speeds, etc. Some photos show the antennas pointing forward, others show them up in the air, and some show them aiming downwards. It took a lot of trial and error to settle on a pattern. 3) A laser light to tell the user where it's pointing would be a plus.Now, what I like about it: 1) Its power. It took a lot of practice to get accustomed to its behavior, but once I achieved that I was amazed at what it could do. It actually found a single silver coin buried too deeply for a normal metal detector from THIRTY yards away. 2) Its convenience. The slim design made it easy to carry in a backpack without risking damage. I used it that way to hike to a cave where I had found some unusual artifacts in the past. I needed it to test whether there were any other artifacts of value hidden away too deeply for a normal metal detector. 3) It uses two 9-volt batteries rather than a rechargeable built-in. This is a huge advantage if you're hiking because you can bring extra batteries, as opposed to risking the rechargeable battery suddenly going dead in the middle of a critical search.

Oddly enough, this thing actually works! You have to be overly patient and double check everything, but if you put a gold ring out in your yard, this thing will take you right to it! It seems to get you in the right area to check for the good targets, realize that some of these things may be quite far down!

I returned it.It worked so poorly that I think it is probably a scam/fraud and not just a mediocre product.
