Bought this as a small present for the home as our cordless had packed up. Great device plugs into the Wifi Modem no hassle. Works perfectly for what we need and looks lovely.

Does anyone remember this fone?When u took out a line 4 the 1st time, even as late as the 2000s, BT gave u this fone. Everyone had one.This arrived the other day. Its ivory & is a lot darker than on the website. The phone's great but not the colour - 2 dark.The BT fone only came in ivory & was a nicer, lighter shade of ivory.I'm returning this fone, not because there's anything wrong with it, purely because of the colour. The original ivory ones were a clean, light ivory colour, this one isn't - it's dark, more like a dirty fawny, light brown chocolaty mousse colour, not the classy, whitish ivory as on the photo.The phone was bought as a gift - exchanging it for the red one.Will post a further review once we have the red one.Sumone posted as late as May this year that the fone that the fone stopped working 3 months after purchasing it - I hope this is not the case as it's a classy looking phone.UPDATE :. Received the red one now and decided to keep it for myself!It's great!My buddy bought another one - am in the process of returning the IVORY one due to the poor colour.It pings when you pick up the receiver and put it back down. Just before it's rings it pings - can't remember if the original did.Love this phone!Recommend this phone but AVOID the IVORY one - the colour is dreadful! Chose either the RED or BLACK & good luck!

Very nice, retro photo. It’s plastic but doesn’t look cheap.

A great phone. Authentic looks, authentic ring tone, clear sound. Properly weighty rather than some lightweight plasticky imitation. The authentic bell ring is excellent ("just like movies!" my kids say).If you're being really fussy, the ring tone is slightly quieter than the original would have been, and the coiled handset cable is rather short and a brighter shade of red than the phone itself (on the burgundy/red version of this phone). But that isn't enough to detract from the fact that this is a quality phone.

Purchased as my real 1970s phone wasn't compatible with a VOIP adapter and would not ring on incoming calls. This works fine and looks great if you like vintage furniture and fittings.

Works ok but handset volume is very low even when switched to high.

Wanted a retro phone, like the one we used to have when I was a kid and this fitted the bill.Looks fab on my hall stand, sounds great when it rings and you can actually hear people when making a call unlike our old phone.
