The media could not be loaded. This product feels very light, as it’s plastic, but it looks the part. Be aware there’s a digital display lower right corner of where the flames show. It becomes visible when you press any of the controls (basically you see the red numbers in the flames which is a bit odd). Then it fades after a few seconds if nothing is pressed BUT it does leave a small dark rectangular shadow about one inch by one inch that you can see if you know it’s there. We have, however, decided we love the fire so will keep it regardless. It’s very effective and a good imposing size, which is what we wanted. Absolutely silent operation if just having the lights on, but really quite noisy when you add the heat. The light settings vary through 8 settings which is noticeable at every setting and you can set the fire on a timer. All in all, it’s a stunning fire for the price and we are very happy with it.

This arrived yesterday and I was concerned from reading other reviews and actually ready to return it. I was wrong to worry though.It's not metal but looks effective enough, I can't imagine anyone will look closely enough or care. The heater isn't silent (it's a fan heater, they aren't!) but it's not noisy, you can just hear it in the background. If you had a real fire, it wouldn't be quiet either!It's early days but I'm really pleased. I ordered this for the size compared to other ones available. It looks good, is lightweight and gives out a good amount of heat. I'm mostly using it with just the light on as it looks lovely but packs a good bit of heat when needed.

This fire is lovely to look at, isnt cast iron which I wasn't surprised about because the item description clearly states cast iron affect. Gives out plenty of heat even on low.However it is so loud that you can't hear the TV and every now and then it makes a really loud rattling noise for a few minutes at a time.So I am returning it,Have started the return and I am having to pay postage £13.00 for evri to return it. This will apparently be refunded back to me when amazon have received the fire. So for me not great.

Looks great and does the job, but fam is really noisy

Just brought this arrived today I looked at lots of fires but I wanted a grey one and when I saw this at a the great price that it was I brought it, well worth the money it was one that had a remote so you don't need to get out your chair,lovely looking.L Hartman-shortt

First one arrived but was missing all screws, remote control and manual so sent back and got a replacement next day. This one had everything included and was great a d up and working in no time. It was boight for my Dad and he like the heat output and lights.
