Short version: this is the most comfortable bike saddle I've ever used on the road or trails.Slightly longer version: I bought this because I'd had what I'd rate as a B+/A- experience with another Wittkop saddle on a trainer. In other words, very good but not necessarily excellent. We need to remember here that saddles are an intensely personal choice with a lot of individual variables. In any case, this saddle was a real revelation in terms of comfort. Here's the best metric I can provide: I ride 2.5 hours or more every day on this saddle without any discomfort or need to stop and get off the bike. This is a great saddle (for me, maybe for you) at an extremely good price point.

I love to bike (road and mountain) but I have always struggled on bike seats. As an above average male in height I struggle with a certain area becoming extremely numb while in the saddle. As distressing as that sounds (and is) I finally found a seat that provides the comfort and more importantly the circulation that I need while riding. I've purchased multiple for each of my bikes. The material holds up well and is completely waterproof. It's a functional bike seat, so padding is minimal, but much better than most slender seats. If you are struggling with comfort or circulation like I was, I would highly recommend this seat.

Good: at least partially thoughtful design, nice appearance. I like the the level of friction in the seat covering.Not so good: as others have noted, the memory foam is pretty stiff. The mounting structure of the seat limits your ability to tilt the front of the seat up, even to level, and I would like it to move back farther than it allows. While I like the covering material in terms of texture, it is fragile, my bike tipped over and the seat got a small rip in it from hitting the ground. The seat that came with the bike was tougher than this.I want to like this seat. This is the "trekking" version and it definitely positions me in a more upright position than the factory original seat, mostly because I can't move it back as far. I have ridden with it a couple of one hour rides. It is not as comfortable as I hoped, but is a tad better than the original seat. I hope we will adapt to each other. If the padding was a little softer and the mounting rails were longer and angled so you could raise the front of the seat a little more, and the covering was a little thicker and more resilient, I would like it a lot better.Update 3/31/2025 - After a few rides with this seat, I rode on different bike that has a different seat (factory issue) that I used to think was OK in terms of comfort. I hadn't been on that bike in a year, and I found the seat on it to be uncomfortable to the point of being painful, even after several rides where I thought I'd get "used to it". My explanation for this is that the seat that is the subject of this review is enough better that the contrast is very noticeable. I would still prefer to be able to slide it back more and raise the front of it a little, but my opinion of it as-is has gone up a notch based on this comparison, so I am elevating my rating to 4 stars instead of three. It does not cause the pains of the seat on my other bike, even on longer rides. I was able to repair the small rip mentioned above with a dab of black "liquid electrical tape", which I believe is a form of vinyl. It is compatible enough with the seat covering material that the rip is not nearly as noticeable now.

Installed on a lug frame, triple butted classic road bike with seat height 5 inchs above drop bars. Very comfy in the drops, where I spend 70% of my time, and in more upright positions. I am 74 year old serious rider for 60 years, 6 foot tall and weigh 167 pounds This seat replaced a Terry City gel seat that is now on my more upright flat bar electric bike. Could not be more pleased and delivery was overnight! Incredible value to boot.

This is the 2nd Wittkop seat I've purchased.I have the touring model on my 26 RedlinePL.This last one I just purchased is the city model& I put that on my Giant beach cruiser. Not bulky like other beach cruiser seats & lighter.Has more of a sporty look. Minimal clean.Super comfortable for them long rides.Great seat. More support and comfort for the back & bum.I highly recommend. Strong & well made. Easy to clean too. Excellent price too!

The seat is comfortable, the cooling slot works well.The seat clamp is quite weak. I tightened the bolt way more than should be needed, and the clamp teeth stripped 20 minutes into my ride. This was quite painful, not something I would want to experience again. I readjusted the seat and tightened the seat clamp like I was torquing down the lug nuts on a semi truck, and eased home.I pulled the clamp off at home, the teeth had sheared off. I replaced the clamp with the double nut style clamp off my old seat. That solved the problem.The seat is fine. 5 stars.The clamp is poorly made. 1 star.Keep that in mind when looking at this seat. You will want to use a different clamp for most applications.

I have bought three of them to replace the seats for my bikes, here are the things that I like about this bike seat:1) The shape of this seat, it is long enough to feel comfortable;2) It has enough cushion but not too soft to let rider feel comfortable;3) This seat has non slip surface which is very important to keep your body stick to the seat.
