I've used these for years in my countertop or refrigerator water dispenser. They work very well, and while they may not filter out everything, they certainly keep lead and other common water contaminants in check.

The PUR Water Filter replacement pack is a perfect way to make sure we always have the clean water. In our area, water isn't the best quality and we like to filter it before we drink it (for taste and for extra security measures). The quality of these filters are really top notch, with them lasting at least 6 months for our usage. The purification is quick, high quality, and easy to do. All you have to do is flip the top off and fill it up with water, running it through the filter. My only small complaint is that it was somewhat confusing to put on for the first time, but once we did it worked like a charm. Design and capacity for water filtration is good overall-I noticed that it would take longer when it was older to filter the entire container through. Overall, great product! I highly recommend it.

I've been using this style of water filter for many years and it does a good job filtering the water. I really like how it removes the horrible chlorine smell and taste of city water. The chlorine has all ready done it's job and killed all of the little nasties in the water, so by the time it reaches my faucet it's good to be filtered. And besides, after a few classes in biology, anatomy and physiology, I know that chlorine is bad for all the good bacteria in the gut.

Good price. Sometimes this size is difficult to find in my local store.

This is probably my fourth time purchasing. They fit my PUR Water Pitcher that sits in the fridge. They are easy to insert and twist out when time to replace. Each one lasts for a good 2 months. Can use longer if you live by yourself and maybe not drinking or using as much of the water.
