Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold, 160 Count (Pack of 1)

Delicious slightly malty, slightly honeyed blend of teas for a good morning (and afternoon...) cup. I buy a lot of tea and hunt down small suppliers and unique loose teas. My favorite tea is Golden Yunnan. Assam works well but is a little harsher for me. This is great quality for a bagged tea blend and a great everyday, portable workhorse from a reliable and well-known tea company. It's definitely a more nuanced cup and less harsh than the red box (for that one, I need milk). This size is a great value for the nice quality of the tea blend. As much as I would love to drink loose leaf golden monkey Yunnan daily, my budget disagrees.

I bought this to make quality ice tea, but went ahead and tried a teabag as a hot tea. It is really good, strong & flavorful. It was very fresh and I'm also thinking some of my other tea is getting stale. But this Yorkshire red will make great ice tea this summer and I'll use it for hot tea also.Be sure and buy the 80, 160 or 240 sizes that seem more like the original UK sizing. There is a box of 100 that is probably more designed to sell in the US (lists ounces in addition to grams). 80 bags of the good stuff weights 250 gms. 100 bags of the US stuff only weighs 220 grams, and may not hold the same quality tea in addition to holding a lot less tea per bag. It is very common for European companies (especially tea, cosmetics, food items etc) to put the same name on the label but with very different and less quality ingredients to ship to the US. So be sure and not buy the cheap bags.My review is specifically for the 80, 160, 240. Mine is a box of 160, which I HIGHLY recommend

My favorite black tea. The quality and freshness level is much better than any I can get it in any regular grocery store. I no longer drink coffee but still need caffeine and this is a great substitute since I cut out coffee and switched to tea. The smell is so refreshing as well!

The tea was packaged poorly- just in an envelope. Happily, it is OK and this time had cellophane around it which made a difference.Suggest shipping the tea in a box so it is better protected.

maybe a bad batch ? who knows, but this was NOT up to Taylor’s usual standards . Very bitter and undrinkable . I have been buying and drinking Yorkshire Gold for several years . This was not the same tea.I shared my opinion with Taylor’s ofHarrogate . They checked the batch code from the box and found no discrepancies .Nevertheless they were very gracious and replaced my tea . Good communication and customer service was unparalleled. This is first class ethical company that has a first class tea.

Great value. Good quality. Fresh. Just brews slightly more bitter than I like.

Just a sniff of this tea as you open the box is heavenly! Wonderful with honey and strong enough to stand up to the addition of cream or milk! Makes a nice hot toddy for a sore throat too!

This is the most elegant , yes, elegant black tea that I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Very pleased.
