Had this set up with with a clip on light and I wasn’t to happy with seeing the clip also part of it was in the water. I can across this and I said I’ll give it a try. Super easy to assemble and brightness is perfect. This setup takes this aquarium to the next level. They come in different sizes and I will be buying as I have other project to set up. 100% recommend.

Update: This company definitely made good on sending me a PERFECT light stand. No cracks and the light does not wobble.Changing to five stars that they deserve.Straight out of the box the wood is splitting down the middle in half. The light is wobbly. Poor quality wood. Looks nice and the brightness of the light is good, but I won't buy it again from this company. The wood should have been better quality for this price.

This stand is beautiful but the LED light completely burned out within 3 months. I had it on a timer, running about 5 hours per day. Very disappointed in the durability and functionality of the light

I've purchased two of these - one for 2 gal nano aquarium, and one for a 1 gal paludarium. Both have worked flawlessly at growing aquatic and terrestrial plants. The bamboo stands are nicely made and look great sitting on my desk. Highly recommended.

The light is very nice and bright. It’s easy to assemble and looks extra fancy. I do wonder about replacing the bulb when it goes bad because it doesn’t look like it would be simple or convenient to do. When I saw the price of this lamp I assumed there must be some sort of magical light installed. Perhaps if I put a pebble or a small rock under this light it would transform these items into a small army of creatures willing to do my bidding. Why my bidding, you may ask? Well, because I just spent a lot of money on a very average light. Either someone has some sort of attunement to the secrets of interior illumination or they make poor decisions on spending. I for one are still betting on this tiny rock king creature spawning because I don’t want to admit I maybe bad at money.

I use this for a 1g aquatic plant bowl and it’s been great. The light intensity is just right and keeping it on a timer makes life easier. It’s stylish on my countertop, too. My only complaint is the light pole doesn’t stay snug and is a bit wobbly. However, since I don’t move the stand at all, it’s really a nonissue.

The light worked good when it worked, but went dim after 2 years and 6 months (purchased Oct. 2022). I expect longer than that. It looks bright in the picture but it is about a quarter of the original brightness. I have a $27 light from Aqueon thats lasted over 5 years now. Maybe I got a lemon. Maybe there was a power surge that damaged it. Ive been running it on a timer this whole time. Maybe it has some sub par components. Take this poor review along with the good.
