Sharp and sturdy
Usually, the only time I think about scissors is when they don't work. What is more irritating then a dull pair of scissors? But now I I think about how much I love using these scissors. They have a very sharp edge and cut quickly. I also like that they feel so sturdy. I hate when scissors are so light it feels like a plastic toy. The grip is nice and wide too. These are definitely not just kitchen scissors. I bought two more in the last year. The only thing worse then a dull pair of scissors is when you cant find your favorite pair of scissors because someone else likes them too.

Best kitchen scissors for the price
Blown away at the quality and sturdiness of these kitchen scissors. Recommended to my by a friend, no other scissors can match this quality at the price point.

Holds a good edge and easy to clean
Comfortable to use in the kitchen. I use it mostly for cutting herbs and light pruning of plants. Very sharp and precise cuts that are clean and don't pinch the stems. Easy to hand wash.

Seem sturdy and well-made
I was so tired of kitchen scissors that have flimsy stamped blades that fail easily. These seem very solid. They are sharp and the fit and finish is superb. I like 'em.

This is most likely 400 series stainless steel, which is a lower grade and may rust over time.
The scissors are magnetic(second pick with a refrigerator magnet), which means magnesium or other metals are added, (or they are coated with stainless steel). It is a lower grade stainless steel, which may corrode or rust over time. Also, when washing it with my dish scrubby, the plastic scrub left tiny scratches on the surface, the first time I washed them. This indicates the metal is softer. Probably the grade of stainless steel. The only way to get a good pair of stainless steel scissors is if the stainless steel was at least 18/10 grade.I still like them. I'm guessing I'll get a few years out of them. I do wish they were made with a tightening screw. You get what you pay for. If they were 18/10, and had a screw that tightened them, I would have paid $40+.They are sharp, heavy duty, and solid. Way better than plastic handled scissors. I recommend them for the price.Update: Okay, so I bought these the beginning of August, and it's now February 2021: Still super sharp!I've had these for six months now, and they are substantial in weight, very sharp, and have not rusted at all! I wash them when I use them, and dry them right away. They're kept in my kitchen knife block, and get used for everything. They are even sharp enough to cut up a whole chicken. They ARE REALLY sharp, but I like that about them. These are the best kitchen/misc. scissors I ever bought! AND a great price! I highly recommend these!

Solid durable well-made precision
I am a kitchen nut. I have a $450 Damascus steel Kramer chef knife. I have set of All-Clad pots. I try to to buy things that are durable and can pass down to my kids. For example I know my cast iron frying pans will be in the family for another hundred years. I had a couple of Henckel scissors that I loved and so did the rest of my family and they lost one. Now the only Henkels available are thosethat come apart and I detest them. I like a scissor that does not come apart and are heavy duty. I ordered three is scissors to replace my one missing Henkel, including the Newness scissor. I ordered a KitchenAid and another high rated one. They are good. But when I got the Newness scissor the weight and soundness and the sound it made when you opened and closed it shows that this item is in a class by itself. It is one of those products that is durable, it will last, and is simply old fashioned high quality. This will get passed down in my family. The other scissors although highly rated are not even in the same class. When you put one in your hand you will understand why.
