Not for smaller people, but still a great piece of kit
I'm over 6 feet tall but thin (under 200 lbs), I have to cinch the straps almost to their stops to get it snug. Very comfortable, very well made. Would work great for heavier folks or with jackets/armor underneath, tons of adjustability and good magazine retention. Would buy again.

Not bad for the money
You get what you pay for, right? Well, in this case not true. Let me tell you up front that the people who can't make it fit aren't trying. I'm 5'9" and 185lbs on a medium frame. I'm not Arnie but I'm no fattie as I run 5k's for sport. Once you adjust this thing right it will fit just fine. I actually managed to get it too tight for winter use and had to loosen it up a bit. It's comfortable, surprisingly so. It doesn't flop or sag fully loaded once you adjust it right. You should be putting the weight on the shoulders and waist evenly, just like a backpack. To control flop, make sure the back belt (it goes on your CHEST, not your belly folks!) is tight enough to hold it in place and the shoulder straps put closer to your lower ribs/sternum. On me, it fits nicely between my belly button and pecs. The shoulder straps cross at the back which helps with fit and comfort. Both shoulder straps are paddedEverything else of a comparable setup was three to five times the price for half the capacity and looked damned uncomfortable. This thing costs less than a 'taco' pouch one group makes. I've used mine in outdoor tactical training and ran like a mother with it for 6 hours while shooting and scooting. Bottom line, it's no SOE gear but it's good enough, and it didn't cost me more than a case of ammo. The pro's:-Low cost, how many chest rigs not made of paper can you find for 35 bucks?-Good once you size it to yourself, take your time!-Decent setup overall-Pistol mag pouches can be modified by changing the flap's attachment to fit tools, knives and other items.the Con's:-Hard to adjust but you have to keep at it.-Hard to reinsert magazines sometimes-Cant adjust the main rifle mag pockets-Not a ton of room on the side molle panels. I wish they extended back a bit further. Right handers wouldn't want to put anything on the strong side unless it has a lower profile than the main carrier pouch. e.g. an admin pouch would fit comfortably but not an issue IFAK, it could interfere with drawing your secondary if you use a drop leg rig.Bottom line, you're not going to find anything close to this in quality at this price.

BEST buy I could have made!
This is an awesome chest gear rig by Condor. This will fit large people easily. If you are small and skinny, you might have a bit of a problem even with adjusting all the belts and straps.I wanted to purchase a tactical vest but was concerned because as a large and 'well endowed' woman, I thought that the vest might not fit comfortably, or be too large and loose, or to small and tight around the chest. So I went with this chest rig. This is a GREAT BUY for the price! I have plenty of room with this. It will easily fit over even layers of clothing if I want to do this. The material is like other rough use tactical gear - the seams are double stitched. You can hold 6 - 8 AR-15/M-4 mags easily in the pockets intended for this, and pistol mags (4+) in the designated pockets - or you can use the front pocket for other gear to carry. There is also a mesh pocket that is on the inside of the rig, next to your body, where you could carry maps or other papers or gear. There is MOLLE setup on the side if you want to add additional gear to carry with you. The shoulder straps also have the ability to attach gear to - i.e. hunting or tactical knife, 2 way radio, etc..I'm still exploring all the possibilities with this! All I can say is that if you want a good, sturdy, well-made chest rig, Condor has made it! I always hate when people tell me to 'buy it', but if you are looking for a versatile gear carrying chest rig that will last a long time, at a great price, and fit those of us who are large-bodied, then GO FOR IT!

Excellent quality tactical gear made by Condor.
I have two of these. The coyote brown I deployed with in Afghanistan for 8 months. It worked great and I have not had any issues with it. Just a great inexpensive and practical way to carry 6 magazines for both rifle and pistol simultaneously. I trained at the old BlackWater site and used it there for shooting drills and it never let me down. I highly recommend buy one or two of them and having them on hand. I would typically wear this over my body armor or just over my jacket or shirt. I added a knife to one of the straps on the rig and I have two pouches on each side for misc gear or tourniquets. I used the rig to carry 6 mags x 30 mags for my M4 and 6 mags x 13 rounds for my Sig 9mm P229 = 258 rounds plus the 1 mag in my AR and 1 mag in my Sig on my duty belt = 301 rounds in total with my kit. If you want to carry your pistol mags on your duty belt and not on the Condor rig you can do that or carry them on the rig and not on a duty belt or not use a duty belt at all, those are all options to choose from. Or you could carry six 13 round mags on your duty belt and on the rig and add 78 rounds to the above figures and have a total of 156 rounds of 9mm on you so you can provide ammo to your battle buddies who are stupid and only bring 2/3 mags on their kits thinking, "...well if I'm ever in a fire fight and I need more than 3 mags of anything I'm pretty much dead anyway..." Don't be THAT GUY! BETTER TO BRING MORE AMMON THAN YOU NEED THAN NOT HAVE ENOUGH AMMO WHEN YOU NEED IT is my way of thinking. You can always downgrade and store the ammo in a rucksack or an ammo can but at least you got the fkin ammo on you in an organized manner.

Very impressed
For this price, I don't know what could match this rig! Solid quality, comfortable when fully loaded and has room to add a few extra pouches for whatever your needs are. I'm 6'4 280lbs (large shoulder and chest) and there is still room to spare. If your a big dude, this rig is for you.
