Resonates Beautifully!
10” has a real nice hum to it that endures for a solid 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Sings nicely also. 128hz gong and about 345hz ring. Is not marked with decorations, is a plain bowl which I desire more so. Worth the cost, and is clearly unique by true noticeability that it is indeed hand made hammer beaten. Very happy with this acquisition.

Exceeded all expectations!
This lovely singing bowl has left me a little speechless! Despite the apprehension of buying a singing bowl sight unseen, and unheard, the reviews were so positive that it seemed worth the risk. The bowl I received exceeded all my hopes and expectations! It arrived nicely protected for shipment, and arrived in perfect condition. It’s a gorgeous glowy color—a really beautiful bowl. To my joy, the aspect I was most anxious about—the sound—left me astounded. The bowl is extremely responsive and plays equally beautifully either gonged or rimmed. It’s a long singer: I clocked the last wisps of sound at just under 4 minutes from being gonged with the suede-wrapped mallet. The sub-sonic vibration lasted even longer. There is an incredible array of harmonics ranging from the deepest thrum to bright, clear, more bell-like tones. It sings beautifully being rimmed with the suede end of the mallet, and the sustain is as impressive being rimmed as when gonged. Still can’t wrap my mind around the amazing quality of the bowl: the warmth and clarity of the many, many different harmonics, the epic sustain, and the beauty of its appearance! There are no harsh, enervating tones or buzzing at all. It has been an wonderful and peaceful adventure discovering all the incredible harmonics in this lovely bowl I have been so blessed with!

Very pleased and would recommend.
This is the second bowl I have ordered from this fine company. The first was a smaller bowl which pleased me greatly. I plan on purchasing a third bowl in the near future. The sound of this large bowl is quite pleasant and seems to be helping my meditation in motion sessions. It resonates for a very long time when struck and plays quite well when stirred slowly. The value for the money is just outstanding. The hammer and stick are nicely rendered and feel good in my hand.Go wander around the web and try to buy a bowl of this size/quality at this price point. Most bowls of a similar size are ten times the price of this bowl.A Buddhist friend said to be very wary of high priced bowls or bowls promoted as being antiques. I called a store specializing in these items and they wanted $15,000 for antique bowl of the same diameter and somewhat similar sound. Nope.I read an anecdote from an aircraft engineer who specialized in metal fatigue due to vibration. He said that its bad for airframes but wonderful for singing bowls as the vibrations actually gently homogenize the molecules of the metal which makes the bowl play better and more easily. In other other words the more you play your singing bowl the better it will sound and perhaps the more healing it will be to your chakras.

Bad surface
Bowl sounded fine but and a big but the metal was hammered to the point that is was separating and was flaking. You could tell that they were aware of this as the company tried to buff out the rough edges. I have other Bowles and none of them look like this. The company wants a good rating and said contact them with any complaints even enclosed a pamphlet in the box. I tried to contact the VIA phone a few times and never got a response so sent it back for a refund.

Beautiful, just as pictured
The bowls (I bought several from the same seller) are all beautiful, as well in craftsmanship as in sound. By now, I have a collection of five, from a tiny one to this 11" big singing bowl. This one chimes in the medium range, not as dark as one would expect at this size. I suppose it is due to the wall thickness. Thicker walls generate a deeper sound. I love to make it sing, but it also chimes nicely when hit with the striker. That pillow looks also exactly like the one pictured: royal blue and gold. I strike my little family of bowls every morning, from the biggest to the smallest, to "wake up" my house. In the evening, I strike them before going to bed, but in reverse order. (Yeah, I am a little wacko, lol, because I also shout 'good morning, house' and 'good-night, house' when I do that, lol). Anyhow, if you look for a big-size meditation bowl, you will get much satisfaction from this one.If you liked my review, please let me know. I hope it helped you make a decision. Thank you for your time!

Nice bell. Good deal.
Lovely multi-modal tone.I’d never seen a soft mallet before: it’s best for bringing out the deepest tones.Hand-hammered? Sure… maybe it needed a few whacks to tune it…

This bowl is awesome!
Makes a lovely deep gong sound with the soft mallet, and a very nice higher pitched sound with the harder mallet. The sound resonates for quite a long time, and with the hard mallet, the bowl sings beautifully!

Big Bowl...Nice Sound!...but more of a note G# or A than a D
Our bowl just arrived yesterday from Thamemart and is nice!It was actually delivered sooner than expected, so that's a plus! It's much bigger than the 6" bowl we recenty got and has a nice mellow tone.Quite happy so far!The photos attached show this D Chakra bowl by itself, along side my smaller B Crown Chakra bowlI measured the sound with my Sabine Metrotune MT9000 that I use with my violin and the rim and side strike are definitely NOT a D, but rather a note G# to A, with the rim sound a note E.
