Works well. Quiet.Increases overall volume of water sent to the fridge which I guess you could say is "more pressure".I have 60 psi inlet into RO system.New fridge only runs water for a certain amount of time before it shuts down to prevent flooding I guess. Before this pump was installed attempting to fill a 32oz glass would fail to fill completely by about 1/3rd (i.e. Would be 2/3 full) removal of fridge filter was able to get the cup to fill to 3/4 full before the fridge would turn off the water.Now with this pump installed in lieu of the auto shutoff valve component of the RO system the cup is able to be filled to the brim and doesn't stop and does seem to fill quicker than before. I've not had a chance to test the full volume it can now dispense with the improved flow of water. I have a 4 gallon RO tank remotely mounted about 35 feet of water line away from the fridge. (Remote install of RO system in laundry / utility room in basement on opposite side of house from where fridge is due to lack of room under sink for RO system)Samsung says the fridge should fill about a 6oz glass in 10 seconds, it now meets this benchmark.

I ordered a NEW, Permeate Pump ERP 1000. I received a USED, Permeate Pump ERP 500. First of all it will not work on a 90GPD RO and secondly I am not putting used parts on my RO system. I screen shot everything when I order so I can prove this is not anything I did. I would like to have exchanged it for the correct part but the only option given is to return it PERIOD. Probably better that way.

Does what it's supposed to. Easy to install. Works!

The pump stops before tank is full and/or at too low pressure.

Just installed this as part of a Home Master RO system. It's only been running for a few days so I can't say how this will pan out longterm. As others have noted, the unit does make some noise when operating normally, kind of a "Click - Errr - Click - Errr", using the force of the waste water exiting the system to push more clean water into the reservoir. The sound is mostly being conducted through the mounting clip and ends up using your entire cabinet wall as a sounding board. If it's annoying you can put some rubber between the pump and clip, and/or between the clip and wall.For what it's worth, all these pumps "appear" to be the same unit, so no problem buying one pump "brand" for a different brand RO system. What can be a bit annoying though is figuring out how to connect it. They all connect the same, but since the pump mfg doesn't know what RO system you're connecting to, all they provide are generic drawings. The RO mfg may (or may not) provide good instructions for their own brand pump. Our Home Master RO system had pump instructions which tried to explain in many words how to connect it - what could have been been much more easily explained with a figure, but okay.Time will tell how reliable the pump is, but it certainly is doing its job; the reservoir fills quickly and water pressure is much improved.

When hooked up correctly it really makes the RO system much better. I got higher output pressure, faster tank charging, and better ice when I hooked up my refrigerator!. I am using with the Aquasana RO system, This system doesn't hook up to the to the Aquasana like the hook up guide shows because the RO is built differently than other off the shelf systems but it works! This is a great addition.

Works great! We recently installed a water purification system but the ice maker did not want to work. We added the permeate pump and it began to work again.

Easy to install. I don't know if the time that it takes to refill my R.O. tank has improved but I can say that the pressure to the faucet and my refrigerator has improved. There is some faint clicking while the pump is operating but it's not very noticeable. I like that I can hear the clicking because it let's me know that the pump is working.I didn't use the screws that came with the mounting bracket. Instead I used some 30lb double sided tape to mount it against a side panel under my sink.
