For the price, this fan works well, and I will keep it. It does make a lot of noise for such a small fan, even on the low setting, gets louder on faster settings. I have to raise the volume of a radio or TV when using this fan. I will definitely never use it in my bedroom, too loud.

The sound is very soft and more of a gentle hum than a steady, soothing white noise.It’s not bad overall, but if you’re expecting strong airflow and that consistent white noise to help you sleep, this might fall a little short.

We already have a few fans of this same model in our home. Now every bedroom has one, and I am considering getting more for other places. It's compact and very powerful in the same time, and not very noisy (we usually use it only on the lowest of the three speeds); it hums the very inoffensive white noise that doesn't disturb our sleep, but you can feel the air flow from across the room.This device is basic - no remotes and no electronics; it doesn't oscillate either. It just pivots 90 degrees from straight ahead position to all the way up into the ceiling and everything in between. Despite the simplicity, it does everything it is expected to do, and does it very well. Recommended.

This is the perfect bedroom fan for air circulation and especially for the white noise humming sound it makes. I swear I sleep better since I bought this. I also like that it’s good quality, has pads on the bottom where it won’t easily move around. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase.
