Our daughter, now 6 months loves this play mat. We have found the quality great and it is made with small babies in mind - attractive colours and a good range of stimulating items which she still finds interesting (the ring shaped rattle, which she could first hold and manipulate at 10 weeks goes everywhere with us!). Now enjoying the use of the mat itself as a mini ball pool/play area now she is sitting. Good that the edges are so soft while she is learning to get about as it's very safe. Couldn't recommend more and such a reasonable price

Absolutely brilliant mat. It has really nice pictures, several clip on toys that make different noises and have different textures. They can clip into the bottom or hang from the bars over the top. The side can be flat or put up so that you can put the plastic balls (included) in there and they won't roll out. It also comes with a curved cushion to assist your little one with tummy time if needed. I'm really impressed with the quality of this item and highly recommend it

Good size for a baby, lovely colours which attract the young child

Good size for baby. Lovely illustrations and my now 4month old has enjoyed looking at the contrast colours right from the start and even more so recently has her sight has developed. The little toys are nice but baby can't reach them to grab at this stage as too high up however it does encourage her to swipe up towards them. Little pillow is great for lying on back and tummy time comfort.

The media could not be loaded. My 3month old loved it. You could see him trying to observe everything. Also very easy to clean.Easy for him to learn how to crawl on. The base is very strong. The cushion is perfect as a headrest.I haven't used the balls as yet. Lots of learning can take place on the mat. I expect it to last for many years.

When I first got this playmat I thought it was OK, it's got lovely art on it, easy to assemble and comes with the play balls for when baby is older. However, my daughter is almost 3 months old (at the time of this review) so she is reaching out and trying grab toys. With this play mat it is very hard for her to do that as the position of the hanging toys are not within her reach they are placed on the sides. There is also no option to hanging any of the toys in the centre like it shows on the product advertisement, you can use the plastic hoops the toys come with but they slide down the stripy poles as there is no fabric loops to attach them onto. Also turning the mat into the ballpit isn't great either , its not very secure with the type of velcro it uses as I tried that too, to see how that works for when my daughter is older. So I don't really recommend this playmat if you are wanting something your baby can interact with,not just look at.
