Lee Kum KeeChar Siu Chinese Barbecue Sauce, 14-Ounce Jars (Pack of 3)

First, people who say it's too salty do not know Chinese cooking. Consider soy sauce which is basically liquid salt. Spoon this wonderful sauce on room temp meat and let stand for 30 minutes. Then roast in oven until done. I like to add more when done is about 5 minutes away. It's sticky and meant to be so.I like to prepare pork pieces in advance and have them ready to add to fried rice or other dishes...yummy cold too....This sauce is by far the best I have found.

This is a staple in my pantry. Pork fried rice, pork lo-mein and any other items that require char-sui are a snap with this. Marinate for an hour or so, bake 20-40 minutes depending on the thickness of the pork and you're done. Also works great with vegetable dishes.

I love this product. When I use it in my meals for friends and family, I get many compliments on my cooking.

The porduct is terrific. I have a low score for value becasue like so many others 1 of the containers was brokek and the seller couln't care less. Notice how many others have had a comparable experience without the seller addressing the issue. The product itself is great and thus I would repurchase.

Great marinade

This is tradition Chinese restaurant spare rib flavor, but its a tad too salty. zdiluting does not help.but it is still the best option avabile.

I was unable to taste it because all the bottles were damaged or not sealed. Waste of time.

Char Siu sauce is a name in itself, distinct flavor and taste, it is a signature item of Chinese cuisine. If you do not want to drive to your local Chinatown to shop for it, this is probably your best choice: Lee Kum Kee trademark is a sign of quality and popularity. This particular item price is unbeatable for delivery, probably 30% cheaper than any other offer for the same product. Highly recommended.Also, the packaging is perfect: not a chance to get it delivered broken.
