M5 304 Stainless Steel Bearing Simplex Single Bolt Wire Rope Clip Cable Clamps For Wire Cables (20PCS)

Originally I could only find these clips in Galvanized steel , however when I happened to see them unintentionallyI snapped them up and fitted them to my trailer 'R' clips .The Galvo ones have only been on the trailer for about 9 months .... and most of the time the trailer has been in the garage and only used when it was dry, getting wet only when I washed it or when I was caught out by a shower ....As the title says, it's well worth paying that little bit extra, for a corrosion resistant product .

Two of us tried for over 20 minutes to get two wires safely wound in the fitting and the base and nut then done up without it all coming apart. We gave up after that and ordered some small U clamp fittings which are a joy to use. We were using the correct size fitting for the wire. We tried it on the ground first. Up a ladder there is no way we could have done it.

I've used these in the past and had no issues, but the last lot of these was really poor, they kept snapping upon tightening. but they weren't over tightened, on inspection it appears poor tooling misformed, so probably not the sellers fault, just bad luck. does now mean im a few short so will need to buy more... bit annoying.
