very limited
Tried to get a game for my wife to play. Screen output is limited. Games not what were expected. Very out-dated,

My mistake
It works fine but I wanted an older version. I’m having to learn this version but I didn’t want to 😳

Better than my previous download but still has some flaws
I downloaded the Encore version of this recently and it has some issues. This is also from Encore but has the Hoyle title. It is better than the previous but still has issues. First, you cannot change the number of players in poker. With the old version of Hoyle you could change players which makes the game quicker. Pitch still has the issue of not counting all game points. Also, I just played a game where the opponent played a 2 trump card and in the following hand played the 3 card. Even a novice would have played the 3 card first since the 2 is a definite game point. I like the solitaire games and gin rummy seems okay. Spades just isn't as enjoyable. Hard to explain but it seems like the strategies of the players is not right.

Better than nothing
Like many others, I wanted to buy this because I had the software version once upon a time and loved it. This version is quite poor in comparison. The graphics are poor, and I can't find a way to change the players like in previous versions. BUT - it's better than nothing. It's a suite of card games in which you can play with computer teammates and opponents, which is getting harder to find since most new games pit you against other online players. (I'm an introvert - I'd rather play the computer and some imaginary friends.)

Ok, not as great as the older version.
The game is ok but not as wonderful as the older version that my husband gets to play on his old computer.I did add it to my computer, but a lot of the features are not available on Windows 10. That's why I purchased this game. Like I said the game is ok, probably more than ok, but I was spoiled by the original software.

Disappointing!
The quality of this product was not what I expected. I had a version from 2005 that I enjoyed so much more. Unfortunately I lost it when my computer crashed. I wish I could have sampled this version before I purchased it. And on top of that problem I accidentally paid for TWO and they are not returnable!

Une arnaque
Jeu commandé et téléchargé. Seul problème, le code d'activation qui est donné est rejeté, car invalide.

Some things are good and some are not
It has quite a few card games, more than the 2003 version. If you know the rules, that's fine. If you don't, you won't find out exactly what you want to know. The prime example is Bridge. There are so many bidding systems and conventions missing. If you play Bridge, use another software program.

Bridge game is very poor
The Contract Bridge game is very poor for any experienced player to use. The bidding used by the other players is illogical and does not follow any of the standard bidding conventions. It is consequently very frustrating to play.Other games are reasonable

Great collection of games
Having had this on a previous computer but on disc form I was glad to be able to play my favourite games again

do not buy this Hoyle pack
Difficult to understand how to navigate. Obviously designed by some overqualified geek trying to be smart. Many of these games have a following by elderly with less computer background. The use of cartoon animals with funny voices making stupid remarks is far from the original 2000 etc versions and there seems to be no choice of whom one plays against - again a relic from the turn of the century.I have binned this version and gone back to 2004 version on a CD for both Card and Table Games from Hoyle.Personally, I would buy an updated version of the 2004 version if it was produced preferably without the 'funnies ' to partner in Bridge, Cribbage, Whist or any of the table games.
