Great option for non swimmers!
My son is 7 and has autism. He takes swim lessons but he has motor skills and motor planning issues that make swimming a little difficult for him. We've used vests or floaties in the past but this is definitely my favorite floating device ever!We used it today at an indoor water park. It frees his arms and shoulders so he can "dog paddle" efficiently, there's no rubbing or tugging, keeps him upright and buoyant without restricting his movements, it's easy to put on and remove, it's lightweight foam so it can't deflate etc of all the floating devices we've tried, this is my favorite and he loves it too!Bonus, it doesn't look "baby-like" at all and he didn't stand out as the one kid in the group who can't swim yet. He's about 52" tall, 54lbs and it fits him great with a ton of room to grow because you can easily adjust the belt. This is not a life jacket and shouldn't be used as such but if you have a non swimmer who needs a floatation device in the pool, this is a fantastic option!

I gave this a shot and we are all glad I did
The Aqua jogger has helped me reach my son to swim. I am not the most patient dad. His 5 year old body could not force itself into a prone position on top of the water while wearing the safe but inhibiting puddle jumper that his mom bought. I gave this a shot and we are all glad I did. The buoyant piece is on his back and we were able to practice keeping his head under water while he stroked. This worked so well that after a few days he didn't need it because he had improved so much. He will still wear it at a friend's lake house but he is doing great in out above ground pool. Highly recommended.

Recommended!
I learned about this product from one of my sons therapists. She had used these on previous clients and recommended it to me. We got a lot of use out of this belt this summer! I purchased just 1 because I wanted to see if we liked it before purchasing another one. I have a 5 and 4 year old and they both loved it. Last year they were wearing those big bubbles that go around the arms and they did not like those. The belt is adjustable so you can fit it to the child. The position of the belt allows the child to swim freely and more confidently. I highly recommend this product if you are teaching your child to swim or just want to ensure their safety.

Great help
This is the perfect belt to help kids really learn to swim without the encumberment of life jackets. Absolutely fantastic. Although. be sure to periodically check the stitching. I had to resew the stitching near one of the buckles. At least we found it OUT of the water and didn't discover it while a kiddo was in the water.

just what we needed
my grandkids are good swimmers and don't need or want life jackets, but the water in our lake is very dark and i worry that in the event of an accident we would have difficulty finding them. the kids dont mind wearing them because they arent bulky, have adjustable straps, and provide extra buoyancy if the kid becomes fatigued.

Perfect for kids at the lake!
Purchased two of these for our grandsons, ages 6 and almost 4. Although the kids are required to wear life vests while on the boat, these are a fantastic option for them when playing near the water or swimming off the boat or dock. They are so much less restrictive than a life vest, but still keep them afloat. They also allow the boys to float on their front or back and use their arms freely as they develop their swimming skills. Highly recommended!!

This is the BEST thing you can buy for young ones who are ...
This is the BEST thing you can buy for young ones who are going to be around water. We keep several on the boat for my young son for when we are out or he is around the dock. It's not technically certified as a life vest, but my son is willing to keep in on versus a life vest that gets in the way if he sits down, etc. It also helped him to get confidence learning how to swim. Just keeps his head above water.

Great for beginner preschool swimmers
Love this belt. I have one for my almost 4 yr old and one for my 5.5 yr old. Both are in swim lessons and have basic skills. This allows them to swim and stay safe until they no longer need assistance. Both are a little over 40 lbs and the belt adjusts fine.

Not just for kids, Aqua fit class
I know this belt is for kids but I'm 5'5 120lbs 30yr and it fits me great still have lots of black belt part sticking out. All adult belts are way too big on me( I also have funny rib thing) I use it 2-3 times a week for aqua fit class. Reason why 4 star's because I wish the strap was stretchy like the one's for adults because once in water it dose loden on you and hard to tighten once in water. Need tight for class.

... have a 5yr old and a 3yr old who like to swim
I have a 5yr old and a 3yr old who like to swim, but find life jackets too bulky. These solve that problem, giving them lots of range of motion with their arms and not bunching up around their heads (obviously).Don't mistake these for safety devices (they clearly are not, and they don't pretend to be), but if you're going to be hanging out at the pool or the lake with your little ones, these are fantastic. Our biggest issue is that this gave our 3yr old so much confidence in the lake that she was constantly trying to swim across to the other side!

Great product
Perfect for teaching kids how to swim. Be sure to use a water top or they might get chaffed under their arms though.
