Been using this for a few years every night. Really has helped avoid gun recession. I brush my teeth, floss, then use the pick along the gum line. Teeth cleaning appointment is greatly improved. Highly recommend and reorder all the time.

Excellent for cleaning teeth.

I was introduced to these by my dentist of the past 10 yrs. During the previous 10 yrs my dentist had sent me prepeatedly to a periodontist for expensive cleaning and they actually removed several teeth telling me I needed jaw surgery and implants. The teeth were pulled before I had even considered going that far. Hence the change of dentist based on the good words of a friend.He advocates 7 dental steps (7dentalsteps.com) that he has encouraged me to do regularly. He provided a dye that I could put on my teeth that would show me where I missed now and then.Anyway, a key part of the 7 steps involves using these. I was skeptical, but I have not needed to see a periodontist even once in the years since I began using this simple routine. These little wooden sticks are soft enough to nog irritate the gums, but good enough to help break up plaque. Not only are my teeth in better shape, but my pocketbook has been spared. A daughter started using these after she complained about bad dental reports. Her dentist now asked her what in the world did you do to improve your gums?I'm sold

My mother had some of these several years ago and I've been unable to find them in stores. Happy to find them through Amazon. They allow me to do a good job of cleaning between my teeth when I don't have a brush with me.I have suggested them to others.

If you like stimulants, you know how great they are. If you've never used them, you're missing out. These triangular shaped (not round or flat like a toothpick) are used to really RUB stuff off your teeth better than floss does. They work best when use BEFORE flossing, then you brush, then you use a fluoride rinse to end it off. I use a Sonicare brush, the best in the world for plaque removal.These are great at removing hard to get food particles, work well on rubbing off stains, and are excellent at stimulating your gums, thus the name. NOTE: THE FIRST FEW TIMES YOU USE THEM, THEY'RE NOT GOING TO FEEL GOOD. That's because you don't likely have enough space between your teeth. After about one month, however, they slide in and out very easily. They make narrower version, but I've been using these for so many years, the narrow ones don't even touch my teeth. Once you use these, you'll never want to miss a day because your teeth won't feel clean without them. Give them a shot; you may have some gum bleeding initially because your gums likely are swollen or not in good shape; Stimudents are great at correcting that and helping prevent gum disease. Now try THAT with flossing alone, Batman!

Work just like I thought they would

The insidious way for a person to lose teeth is to let gum disease get the upper hand in your mouth. The best way to keep gum disease at bay is to use dental floss daily to get between your teeth. NO toothbrush reaches between your teeth no matter what their ads say. Stim-u-dents are a tried and true way to clean between your teeth and are another weapon against disease. AND, they do what no floss can do: they massage the gum tissue between your teeth while they remove plaque and food debris. I rate Stim-u-dent 5 stars without hesitation. If you are motivated enough to brush, floss, and use a new Stim-u-dent every day for a week or 2, unless you already have serious gum disease (which needs professional help), you (and your significant other) will notice a most pleasant subtle change in your mouth. Helps protect against disease and subtly facilitates relationships? Count me in.

Die STIM-U-DENT Plaque Removers sind ein unvergleichlich gutes Produkt, aber leider in Europa (und bei Amazon) völlig überteuert. Ich kaufe dieses Produkt nur noch in den USA, z.B. bei CVS.

Couldn't find these in the stores. Happy to find the exact Stimudents that I was looking for.

Wooden, it cleans plaque better and is totally bio-degradable.
