Not impressed at all, supposedly stops leaks but it just didn’t

Brilliant product, did exactly what it says. Did a crack in my turtle tank at school. Brilliant.

Product does everything it says it will. Used it to fix leaking garage roof !

No fuss did exactly what it said on the packet

Has not formed a waterproof seal between new Butyl rubber liner and pond fibre glass rim , or between new p.v.c liner and rim. it has not even stopped a leak in a watering can. ....... complete waste of money.

Rubbish very low tack when applied to plastic pipe just dropped off

All through the end of last summer, I tried various types of sealants to try and stop 3 leaks on my guttering, getting the ladders out (I HATE heights), then having to dry up any water near the joints, then making sure they are spotlessly clean, applying the sealant then leaving it a day to dry, only to find the next time it rained it leaked and that on all three of the leaks !Not only that the 3 sealants (two were in tubes and the third was a paint on, guaranteed to stop leaks) were twice the price of this tape !Now onto this tape, I bought the clear version, but as I was going to put it on the inside of the gutter I suppose it didn't really matter, I must admit I was very sceptical about this working after my previous experiences but at this price it didn't really matter if it didn't work.I removed the last sealant I had tried, fortunately it pulled off easily, and then gave the guttering a wipe inside with a clean cloth, then just cut a length of the tape so I could fit it over all the joint from top to bottom.The good thing is no waiting for anything to dry, so I immediately filled the gutter with water, and hey presto no leak.I do hope the tape will last - only time will tell that - but for now the good thing is those pesky leaks have gone and I still have plenty of tape left !I am very impressed with this tape.
