best water shoes I've ever owned
I have owned many water shoes and sandals over the years. I even have a pair of Teva and Keens water shoes. rather pricy. but hated having water and especially sand get in my sandals. I bought these to wear to the Waterpark because I don't want my feet touching places other funky feet have. I got the fish scale pattern because I've always been kinda upset over the fact that I wasn't born a mermaid. guys, these didn't slide, they fit me perfectly, stayed on no matter what I was doing. no sand or tiny rocks or bits of whatever got in the shoes. and they are super cute. I was weary of this purchase because it was a bit outside my comfort zone as I've always had a type of water sandal and any time I've worn water shoes stuff still gets inside them and they move around or rub my heels. I can't explain it any better than it didn't feel like I was wearing any shoes. but my feet were protected. Just try them. if you are on the fence just give it a go. they aren't expensive. I've only had them about 2 weeks now so I can't say how they hold up over time. but from the times I've worn them I can honestly say I'm in love.

Very comfortable, great protection
These are wonderful! I own 2 pairs: first pair I bought summer 2021. I use them to wear on the dock and to swim in the lake in the summer. They hold up very well for what I use them for. They stay on my feet very well, even while kicking hard as I swim, but if you’re worried they will slip off, fear not: they float! So, if they do happen to slip off, they are easy to retrieve. I still use this pair every summer since I got them and they’re in great shape. I make sure to remove the insole and rinse them with clean water and set them out to air dry. So far no holes, rips, or signs of wear.I recently took a trip that involved a lot of swimming in a particularly rough-surfaced pool and found myself wishing I had a pair of these with me. The pool is a salt water pool, so it softens my skin up a bit, but the surface of the pool is sandy and gritty. This unfortunately means the parts of my feet that grip and kick off the floor of the pool get torn up easily, to the point of needing bandages. So, I ordered a pair and they came in a couple of days. They felt amazing on my feet as soon as I put them on. Definitely a game changer! I used them in the pool for the rest of the trip and they felt awesome. They protected my feet and for that, they get all 5 stars. They are also very lightweight and lay flat, so they’re great to pack for traveling.A note about their durability: Any little snags or spots of wear I take as a sign that the shoe did its job: it took a hit for my foot. Kind of like a sacrificial anode rod in your water heater that rusts apart for the sake of the system. That being said, there are few if any actual signs of wear so far. Mine have held up awesomely, because they are water shoes and that’s what I use them for. I don’t need them to have arch support; they’re water shoes, not walking/running/hiking shoes. I don’t need them to be steel-toed, they’re not construction shoes. I don’t need them to stand up to rocky, rough terrain, because they’re water shoes. If you think of these as a layer of protection for your feet while you are swimming/moving around the water (beaches, pools, docks) you will not be disappointed. If you are scaling rocky craggy jettys at a rocky beach, maybe get yourself a more substantial water shoe. If you are hiking and you think these would be suitable, maybe get yourself some sense.

Took at Beating at the Water Park
These water socks took a beating at the water park for TWO days and held up for the most part. As you can imagine I did a lot of walking with my children across many different pools, stairs and surfaces. By the second day I did notice some frayed pieces at the seams of the shoes (by the toe and heel area)…this was happening to my whole family, 2 adults and 2 kids. We all got water socks by the same company.Sizing worked for us I wear an 8-8.5 in shoes and ordered the 7-8 and they fit like a glove! They are super comfortable and for the price it did its job for our water park adventure. My son’s toe did eventually rip through the top in the last hours BUT, because they were so comfortable I ordered him a second pair to finish out the summer season.

Great protection, good fit
Got a membership to a local waterpark that is apparently paved with sandpaper, so I went looking for water shoes the next day. These were the best rated that would be available for our next trip so I took the plunge. The pattern is eye-catching and likely to stand out whatever your swim gear looks like, but it does make it easier to find in the water if it happened to slip off. These provided great protection from the rough waterpark flooring and very hot swim deck, and I'll definitely be keeping these around for any trips to the beach/lake/river. My feet were completely pain free after use and I was able to walk around the water park for hours on our second visit with no problems. As an added surprise, I have plantar fascitis and where my feet are usually pretty stiff and sore after being on my feet all day with most shoes, there was no pain after wearing these for a good 4 hours.I have small feet and water shoes are often pretty floppy on me. I have high insteps, so I usually wear a women's 6 in active wear and a 7-7 1/2 in heels. The women's 5-6 here was perfect: probably 1/2" + extra in the toe area for me, but not so awkward I had to do a Goofy wearing diving flippers walk while wearing them underwater. These were snug without being too hard to get on and only got close to coming off a when I was dumb enough to step on my own foot. I can't speak to the long-term durability of these, but they seem pretty solidly what I'd expect from a ~$10 pair of shoes, and I'm expecting they'll last a good season or two which is fine by me.The sole is a slightly cushioned insert inside attached to a thin, patterned rubber sole on the bottom. So, idk, thin enough Toph from Avatar could probably still earthbend in them, but thick enough to provide protection against sand, rough or hot cement, or pebbled ground barring the occasional poky rock.Very happy to be pain free after using these and will be keeping them around for future use.

Great water shoes!
I bought these for kayaking and they have been great! Grip well when walking on slippery rocks and very comfy. They are a tiny bit on the small side in terms of fit, however this isn't necessarily a negative as they stay securely on the foot when wet.

Super comfortable!
It fit like a glove. I recommend to follow the size chart. They are so comfortable that you forget you are wearing them. So much better than wearing flip flops on the beach. I used them on our recent trip to Cuba and they will definitely protect your feet from the hot sand, stones and seashell shards. Easy to clean. I love the design!

They work for ocean rocks
These work for stepping on rocks in the ocean. I wouldn't wear them out of the water as the insole gets sandy and starts getting really loose and comes out which is annoying.
