This is a lovely helmet, it definitely feels very strong compared to some to the cheaper rubbish I have seen. It sits on and around my grandsons head rather than on top so offers good side protection too. There is a decent amount of foam that can be inserted to get the all-important snug fit with the aid of the adjustable fitting system also. The yellow is pretty smart and whilst not technically “hi viz” it definitely makes him easier to spot so I would definitely recommend this colour. Re size, the boy is under three so it’s a bit loose at the moment but as he’s just getting used to a balance bike any tumbles are very low speed and I feel it’s important for him to get into the habit of wearing a helmet in the meantime. He enjoys wearing it too so it’s a win win. Don’t penny pinch and spend the little extra on this helmet for your child's safety.

Good helmets for kids. SLightly overly large for my 7-yo, so it's a pity it doesn't come with some additional stick-on velcro pads, so docking one star for that. Fits the 9-yo perfectly.

Fit Issues: Some mentioned that the helmet is better suited for round head shapes. If your child has an oblong head, the helmet might not fit well and could leave gaps on the sides and I agree with that.Size Concerns: It ranges from 3y to 13 ybut helmets might be too small for older children, especially those nearing adult helmet sizes. it does not sit right with my 5y old seems a bit odd on the back like it should be much longer to protect the back fully. The same for front seems way too high comparing to other helmets we had
