I love to sew and mend things back together, repair my clothes using the correct color threads, and have various tools or items to use with the kit to make that all possible. The thread, as stated in the Q&A, is made of "veil" which isn't exactly a material so I want to assume this thread is either cotton, polyester, nylon, or a combination of sort like poly-cotton or poly-nylon or something. I bought this in 2018 and never regretted it, I use it for literally every sewing job, I've already used nearly every spool and replaced them with outsourced threading, and it's worked wonders for me. I definitely highly, highly recommend this kit for all sorts of repairs, using as a starter kit for mending and sewing, all that jazz. It is a fabulous little kit and well worth the price. :)

If you're a quilter like me, you're protective of everything you need. Nothing's worse than walking into your sewing room and find your husband, boyfriend, son, daughter attempting to fix a pair of jeans using your number 11 quilting needles and your best quilting thread.I had that problem with my fiance, he popped a button on his jeans and was trying to fix them using my quilting thread. After a quick discussion, I was able to take his jeans from him and pulled out my sewing kit, only to discover that it had been years since I used it and had very little of it left. I came on Amazon and found this kit.Everything you need is in this kit, though as usual, the thread leaves a lot to be desired. It can still be used, I just sew whatever I'm fixing with it twice instead of once to give it some strength. The scissors are sharp, the added wheel of pins a great bonus.I intend on getting another one, this is a good kit.

Cute little kit. The scissors don’t work well at all but everything else I’ve used in the kit is very good. Really like that it zips and has little stretchy holders for the items

Gifted this to my seven-year-old daughter who is starting to be interested in sewing making her own doll clothes because she likes them absolutely adores this kid everything has its own place to go easy organized

I am an absolute novice when it comes to sewing. I would never have thought of buying a thimble, or the specialty scissors, or those place holding pins or a seam cutter.... but luckily this came with everything I needed! If i went to buy items individually i would have only bought thread and needles and been sorely lacking! At a great price point in a very convenient case I would recommend this to anyone! I have so far only used it for one project but everything seems to be holding up. Again I am a complete novice in sewing so I don't really have a discerning eye for quality, but I must say as a beginner I was thoroughly impressed and well supplied by buying this KIT.
