These grew into lovely plants...
Finally I can put review here... as long as you tend your garden, carefully, etc, these are wonderful! some started a bit slower than the other beans in my garden, but-- once these started, they grew very lovely! nice beans, and the pods get very large and go to seed IF you want them to... the flowers are lovely, just for the sake of that alone-- though the beans are good, too! I enjoyed these and will buy them again, ... even though i DO have seeds... thank you very much for making these available... my mother taught me about these, and I am glad i learned!

Lots of healthy squash but no beans
I was really looking forward to these beans but instead I have a nice crop of winter squash. Very disappointed

fast growing
I'm using mine for a quick privacy screen on a trellis. If I eat a few beans, that's even better, but mostly I'm going to enjoy the red flowers. They took almost 2 weeks to sprout, even after soaking overnight, but after that, there is no stopping them, they grow several inches overnight.

Lots of duds this year.
I had good results with seeds from this company 2 years ago. Alas, this year I’ve only gotten 1 seedling from 10 seeds I tried to start indoors. I’ll update this review if I get better results now that outside temps have skyrocketed.

Yup. These are runner bean seeds.
I grew some runner beans, for an English friend. She regards them far superior to green beans. Don't know why. They are pretty much green beans. She loves them. She seemed a little unhappy that I had to be so informative. She calls them English Runner Beans. She was not pleased to hear they originated in the Western Hemisphere. She uses a kitchen tool called a bean slicer, to cut the beans into strips. The seeds were quite reliable sprouters. The blossoms are pretty and very scarlet. A few hummingbirds regularly dropped by, to slurp the nectar.

Gorgeous climbing bean
Large, light purple seeds. Our kids planted them Spring 2018, and measured how fast they grew. Not just tasty, but ornamental. We have ordered these twice - both times extremely satisfied with the bright red flowers, quick-growing lush vines and general ease and reliability of the seeds. A great climbing bean.

These never sprouted at all!
I plant scarlet runner beans every year. I order them on Amazon through various sellers and have never had a problem with them - until this purchase! Although they arrived on time just fine, I planted them as usual - and DISAPPOINTEDLY not one of the beans sprouted!!!!! I will try again this spring but definitely would not use this brand/seller.
