Very good.

I strongly prefer this to antibiotic ointments for treating minor cuts and scrapes. I find it more effective and promotes faster healing in my experience. A small percentage of people are sensitive to Iodine, which I believe is the main reason the antibiotic ointments have become popular in recent years.

Good for small cuts, scrapes. I like the iodine with ointment so you can easily apply to a larger area. Keep one in kitchen and bathroom.

UPDATE: Been using this povidone iodine ointment regularly for minor cuts and wounds for 10 years now. It does sting a bit on some wounds. One tube really lasts a long time. I bought the five pack thinking that my big family would cruise through that amount. Here we are 10 years later.FIRST REVIEW: I have been using this ointment several times now. It seems to function as it should to kill germs and promote healing all at the same time.However, I was very surprised that it was exactly the color of my liquid iodine. For some reason, I interpreted the line from the product description that said "non-staining" to mean clear, but that is definitely not the case.It is the best value for the price, though. This is the least expensive place to get this item. Believe me, I searched online high and low and called the local pharmacies to find a better deal and could not find anything this inexpensive.

I've recently had surgery and my doctor will require using this product for several weeks as part of the wound care routine. The image displayed is the exact kind sold by my doctor's office. Since I am finishing a tube every 3-4 days, I liked the idea of purchasing 5 tubes outright to reduce the trips to my doctor's office, and this amount would likely cover the remaining weeks of my wound care. While the shipment arrived fairly quickly, I received only one tube. Also, as another reviewer mentioned it is a different product than the one pictured--a plastic tube by a different manufacturer (I haven't yet opened it to see if the substance is different, since this may be a return). I have sent a note/complaint to the seller to see if 4 additional tubes will be sent and will update the review accordingly based on their response; but I am extremely dissatisfied that I have been charged the full amount and did not receive the product advertised. The email apologized for the error and confirmed they will send the 4 additional tubes quickly. I will update further regarding how long it took for the tubes to arrive, and on the quality of the product they sent, since it is different from the tube advertised. (Oct 25)Update 2: I've revised from 3 stars to 5. The 4 additional tubes arrived on Oct 26, so UrgentCare Medical did perform excellent customer service in addressing the shipping error. I'm happy to acknowledge when a company is very proactive in taking care of its customers. Also, while the packaging and manufacturer is different, I think the consistency matches what I had in the tubes I was expecting based on the picture. I would recommend clarifying on the website that one may receive different packages but overall am satisfied with this purchase and how the seller addressed an error. (Oct 28)

I love having an iodine product as an ointment. It is great for cuts and abrasions. I even use it on the small red patchy areas my dog gets from laying on grass as she has allergies and this stuff helps her alleviate the discomfort, just be sure to not get it on any clothing or carpeting as it does stain. Great stuff!

We all get cuts and scrapes, I seem to get more than my share. It is hard to find an antibiotic cream that is not triple something. My problem is I have developed an allergic reaction to Bacitracin in all triple antibiotic ointment. I do have a prescription for an ointment when I do serious damage to myself, but for simple cuts and scratches this works wonderfully

I received a 5-pack of this product however each tube had only 60 days remaining before its product expiration date. I now have only 60 days in which to use all this iodine ointment before I have to throw it away. What a shame! Buy another product that will hopefully arrive with a more reasonable expiration date so you aren’t wasting your money and adding to environmental problems by having to needlessly discard unusable medical products.

Good product. Using on broken down skin on bedridden person, seems to be helping. Reasonable price compared to other iodine products. I would recommend trying this.

It said it was for cuts and burns. I used it on a burn and it is not non sting. It burned for a long time once it was in contact with the burn.

This stuff is amazing iodine cream worth it's money it helped alot and I will be buying more for sure

This is an anti bacterial ointment that requires covering with a bandage otherwise you will have a mess HOWEVER THIS PRODUCT WORKS WHEN OTHERS DO NOT SO IT IS WORTH THE GOOEY TEXTURE AS LONG AS ONE COVERS IT .

What you see is what you get. Awesome wound cleaner that I cant find at walmart.
