This thing is awesome

First off, I didn't buy this for connecting an instrument to an amp or for headphones. As you can see in the picture, I'm using it to connect an Edutige ETM-001 to my computer via a TRS female to female coupler. If I was sending an already amplified signal I would probably notice a difference, but given how miniscule a mic level signal is, the quality of the cable isn't really going to do much. I opted for this one because of it's purported durable, chonkiness, and just how friggin' extra it is overall. I MEAN LOOK AT IT, IT'S SO PRETTY, and the beefy plug neck + coupler is pretty much perfectly sized for hand mic use.How THICC? About as thick as a ¼ inch (6.35mm) audio plug sleeve, (see pictures.)How fit? Right angle end doesn't really fit into my phone (Galaxy S9+) with a supcase on, because of the large block and short riser (??? see pictures). The straight side fits fine thanks to it having a longer riser than the right angle end. I have issues plugging most cords into my phone because most of them don't even have a riser on the plug to to help it reach, so the fact that either end fits is a big deal.Sound quality? No worse than anything else I have, so I can't take any points off for that. Is it better? Possibly, PROBABLY, but since I'm not using this to carry audio directly to my ears on otherwise audiophile grade equipment, it's basically impossible FOR ME to say.Value for money? At $13.93 after the $14.66 sale price and extra 5% off WHICH I PAID, this cable is a tremendous value for the money. At the original $16.29 list price, I'd say it's just about right for what you're getting. And you need to keep in mind that this cable isn't just about the audio, it's also about the look; you're not just buying high quality equipment, but a designer accessory that looks amazing and sounds at least as good as anything else IF NOT ALSO AMAZING, (again I really am not in a position to say.) If you're not looking for something extra however, the appearance of this cable might be a con rather than a pro.Durability? This is the first of these cables which I've ever purchase, and I've only had it for about a week, so I have no anecdotes to share and inform in that regard. It definitely FEELS durable, I would describe it as "substantial," and extremely well shielded as the cross section stock images suggest. I would be afraid of running it over with my desk chair not out of fear of the cable, but out of fear of getting thrown out of my chair when the cable stops it dead in it tracks.

It's a great cord and it feels strong.Unfortunately due to the square medal at the base of the jack, it doesn't stay in my phone while I'm driving around. I do have a protective case on my phone, but I just can't get the cord seated properly.Unfortunately it doesn't stay put unless I take off the protective case 😕Great cord overall 👍🏼

I've replaced my car AUX cord approximately 7,245 times over the last few years (ha!) and I can tell I've finally hit the jackpot. I've used it for months now and It's super sturdy and the angle of the entry means it fits snugly into my car aux cord port - those still exist for those of us without bluetooth enabled cars. Very very happy I won't have to replace this anytime soon.

With an engineering background, I appreciate excellent audio products. As a result, EMK has become my go-to brand for delivering quality. The caliber and durability of this 8-ft. 90 Degree Right-Angle Cable, is equal or better than cables purchased previously for seven times the price.The attractive blue and gold braided exterior provides essential armor from kinking, snagging or other normal-use assaults or damage. It is, admittedly, larger in diameter, and stiffer than many other cables, but this is a small trade-off for quality.Each terminal end is enclosed in stout anodized metal housing, finished in satin powder blue. The 3.5mm jacks are adorned with a durable gold finish, and the convenient 90-degree end, features a heavy no-holds-barred block, at the bend, to reduce stress on both the wire end, and the 3.5mm jacks. This focus on detail is appreciated, since I've had cables in the past, separate due to stress at either the point of transition from the cable flex or the at 3.5 mm jack, itself.EMK has reduced risk of cable flex damaged, by incorporating rigid stepped rubber boots where the cable enters the metal housing of the terminal ends. I've lost too many cables to broken wires, flexing and bending at this point. This hasn't been a problem, with this EMK cable.With the Pluses outlined above, I wouldn't hesitate to enthusiastically recommend this EMK 90 Degree Right Angle Cable.

I liked the product and unlike many that have commented on having it for less than a week; they are very misleading. I've had mine now for about 2 months and the quality is still as good as the day I first connected them. A self help tip is to remember to never unplug them from the base of the tips and therefore never damages the wires connected. I chose to connect the angled end into my auxiliary port and used the Velcro strap that I was provided to essentially stitch it into my A/C vents on my car so the wire never moves or needs to be unplugged. Then attach it to my device directly with the running free end. As long as I do not yank it the quality remains the same every time. I gave no stars yet on Durability as i think the avg lifespan on wires is 6 months and would like to see this set be the outlier.UPDATE:So went into close to that 6 month window and now the quality of the end bits is no longer high end as before. It was good initially; however, little by little it began to deteriorate in overall use. I would recommend that they make the end pieces still slimmer because I still had difficulties trying to connect it into my phone which had an otter box casing.

I seen this cable said to myself thats a tough durable cable. It is, except after my 3rd use in the studio all my feedback is static, nothing is clear anymore. Wish I had got what I paid for, guess not. Overall I'm disappointed 😞
