First I want to say: if you compare ANY high quality protein bar/supplement to things like fad "recovery" bars or vegan "protein cookies" from the gas station, you should first turn your attention to the ingredients list.This product doesn't suffer at all from the absence of a barrage of ingredients only chemical engineers can pronounce. I was hesitant to buy it based on a few comments that mentioned it was dry, had no taste, etc. I would firmly disagree, though I understand everyone's experience is subjective. Here's what I would say...One of my favorite bars prior to this has been Big colossals apple pie bar. However, I get this only because they are widely available and I am always bothered by the ingredients and sugar. These have the same great crunch texture, much like a rice Krispy as one reviewer mentioned. It's perfectly sweet, has a balanced flavor and the ingredients are so much better. It is a higher price point per ounce, but you get what you pay for. Also, the bars I was eating were about 390 calories for for 30g protein with a good bit of added sugar. Eating 2 of these (weight would be about the same as one big colossal) is 300 calories and 30g protein (amazing for a bar and I think the lightest I've had yet).Overall- better ingredients by a landslide, refreshingly new taste and a great texture. If want your protein bar to taste like a candy bar (why I don't know),these may not be for you. But if you want a guilt-free, protein packed, low calorie snack to hit that sweet tooth, or to double up for a quick breakfast these are great. 👌One add on is that I've been eating protein bars for over 15 years. Most are very chewy or have so much sugar/Splenda they are sickeningly sweet. The ones that try to be candy crunch bars are a dime a dozen(Gatorade, Alani nu, fitcrunch, even metrx). If you haven't had many to compare, that's what you are missing. There's something for everyone but if you are turning up your commitment to macros and generally healthier ingredients , these are the way to go.

It’s like eating rice crispy treats ! I usually eat these as a nighttime treat because that’s exactly what they are, with the added bonus of protein and being healthier!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This product is extremely dry and not good at all. It has a sort of texture like a rice crispy treat but it's like chewing on gypsum board. This is just horrendous and if I eat through them all (don't think I will) it'll be because I spent too much money on these instead of other food. Do not buy this unless you want to hate yourself more for being on a diet.

These are delicious and addictive.I like the protein content, and they have less fat and lower sugar than other protein snacks.The texture is crispy-crunchy, with a bit of chew, but mostly crunchy. If you’re expecting a Rice Krispies treat, you might be disappointed, but ProMix protein puffs aren’t junk food! They’re healthy and taste great. Just don’t buy them thinking they’re something they’re not. I liked them the first time I tried them, and I noticed myself liking them more, and even craving them.They don’t smell bad, but they don’t smell wonderful either. The smell also depends on the flavor. Regardless, they taste really good!Madagascar vanilla (or “vanilla”) and chocolate chip are my favorite flavors, but strawberry and blueberry are quite tasty as well. The vanilla is very vanilla. The chocolate chip is more of a mellow chocolate flavor, until you bite into a chip, which gives you a wee burst of chocolate. I could go for a few more chocolate chips in them, but I’m happy and will buy them just as they are. The berry flavored ones remind me of something I can’t quite put my finger on… maybe the strawberry is a little like nestle quick strawberry milk?Once I got the French vanilla by mistake… those were too sweet for me, but a friend with a sweet tooth liked them.If I could request a flavor, it would be Madagascar vanilla with chocolate chips. Then I’d really be addicted though. As it is, I could snack on these all day, but that would be an expensive habit.

I bought two boxes of the vanilla - the first box tasted quite good: not too sweet and filling. A little dry but it didn’t bother me. The next box was super stale and I noticed the expiration date was about two months out. They were barely edible - I reached out to Promix and they responded immediately and sent me a replacement box with the matcha flavor that I requested. The box from Promix was definitely fresher tasting though I didn’t like that flavor as much as the vanilla flavor.Overall 5 stars for customer service but 3 stars for the product. 4 stars for the product if you can get a fresh box.

These are great! I Will definitely purchase again.I was looking for a protein bar that met the following criteria: whey protein, no sugar alcohol or artificial sweeteners, and not too much sugar. This was surprisingly hard to find but these Promix bars fit the bill.The macro nutrition on these is great: 15g protein, only 5g sugar, 150 calories, and there is even 5g of fiber which is a nice bonus.The Ingredients list also just what I was looking for. No artificial/alternative sweeteners, no artificial flavoring or anything weird.Now on to the taste: I was pleasantly surprised by how good these were. After reading some of the reviews I was expecting something rather tasteless that I would have to choke down. But I found the texture quite enjoyable (sort of like a rice crispy treat) and the flavor is pleasant, if a bit bland. I think some of the reviewers may have slightly unrealistic expectations. As long as you don't come in expecting a candy bar I think you will be satisfied.Honestly the only downside for me is the price. If they were a bit more affordable I would buy these all the time
