Chiostro di Saronno Chocolate Panettone, 750g

I’ve been a fan of this brand for awhile now, and purchase several of their panettones each year. They’re a big hit in our house but also make thoughtful gifts for friends and family, as it’s just a bit more interesting than the same old chocs and cookies available.I noticed some reviews mention the tin being damaged or the bread dry, but I can only say ours arrived in mint condition. The bread is slightly sweet and very moist, and both the chocolate chips and cream used is sweet but not cloying, and the smell when you first open the tin is enough to make your mouth water. I even use some to make a luxurious bread and butter pudding at Christmas, which always goes down a storm.If you’re looking for something delicious and a little different, you can’t go wrong with this. Great quality, BBD of April 2019, very affordable (currently under £13), and the tin is so pretty it makes a cracking little keepsake too.

This is just such a gorgeously yummy cake: it is really chocolatey yet not too sweet. The cake is rich yet light with a bread-like texture and loads of delicious, quality chocolate. Perfect! Comes in a fun, festive tin and the price is reasonable for the HUGE cake you get. Much better value than the tiny ones you get in supermarkets. This is so lush. Horrible day hearing about latest lockdown disasters so I am having a large piece with a glass of champagne. It melts in your mouth. If you haven't had panettone before please excuse my amateur descriptions but order it as you will love it! For the panettone aficionado, order with confidence, Yum, yum! I was a bit wary as £15 is a bit much for chocolate bread - considering chocolate brioche is about £1! However this was really tasty and filled with moist (sorry to you people that hate that word, I love it though) chocolate and plenty of it! Definitely a winner in panettone for xmas.

This will become a family favourite for Christmas.We warmed slices and served with custard and ice cream. Heavenly. Lovely tin too, but it has holes in it where the string handle is added, so if you wanted to use it for cake storage afterwards - be warned - it isn't airtight.

Really the best I've ever had, there was loads of chocolate in the thick but light pastry and it was packaged in a beautiful tin you can reuse for storing other cakes when you've eaten it.

This was a gift for my friend Daniele he is from Italy he is also a vet he shared this with he colleges they all loved.Great gift for Christmas we order again.

Absolutely beautiful panettone. Used to make a sumptuous bread and butter pudding - incredible!!!The tin is a great size and is such a great storage tin when you have finished all the chocolatey glory.
