I bought this for my granddaughter but I thought I'd watch it myself first after reading a reviewer point out that it was frightening and unsuitable for children.While viewing, I was in particular watching out for the frightening scene they described.I saw nothing apart from a well crafted children's film which will appeal to both adults and kids alike.In much the same way as films such as Matilda and Nanny McPhee there is an element of danger or threat, but very mild.So I would wholeheartedly recommend this film for children of any age, especially if they have an affinity with animals and nature.

We loved this film and our grandson loved it too - so much so that he has watched it many times and is always ready to watch it again. We lent it to him a couple of days after we watched it and have not seen it since - many weeks later. So we bought another copy to hold on to, so when he visits it is available - anyway we love it too. A fun film aimed at families with plenty of laughs.If I had a small criticism I would say that I felt Peter was a bit too grown up and in the know, but I still give it 5 stars.Incidentally, we bought the blu-ray for ourselves and the quality is brilliant.

It's live action with real-life animated Peter Rabbit voiced by James Corden what's not to like, although my wife isn't a huge fan.Not the greatest family/comedy of all-time, but then what is, still good fun and will watch multiple times and again before Peter Rabbit 2 is released.Took a while for the blu-ray to get delivered as the price quickly went backup after the Amazon offer price, but other than than all good.

Good film, good quality DVD

Good film and a fun watch. Have never read Beatrix Potter so i cant judge the film on the books but i liked it and bought it on blue ray. Not suitable for young children think i though. Teenagers and adults more suitable.

Very enjoyable at all levels. Will watch again and again. Well worth the £3.77 thro Amazon prime.

I love this film.Watched it round a friends last week and had to order my own copy. Unfortunatelt it is advertised as + Digital Download, but it doesn't come with a code and is just the Blu Ray. False Advertising by amazon
