I have it hanging from my beach bag, for my sun hat! Super cute and practical

These hat clips are really cute. One was used for the first time to attach a sun hat to the outside of a backpack while traveling on a plane. It worked really well until it didn't. The hat clip is attached by a small ring to a larger ring (sort of like a keychain). The larger ring was attached to the backpack. The small ring had managed to work loose from the large ring while attached to the backpack. It was easily reattached. The small ring had not been closed tightly enough when assembled and therefore, able to come loose from the large ring. Nothing a pair of pliers couldn't fix. The actual clip which holds the hat works very well. It is a great concept & it worked perfectly for my needs. Just make sure all the rings are properly closed and secured before using.

These hat clips are cute and a convenient way to carry around a hat. I’ve been trying some of the foldable hats but didn’t care for the way the brim flops around so I switched back to stiffer brimmed hat. The only problem with a stiffer hats is needing a free hand to carry it around and these hat clips solve the problem. The ring is big enough to use with a backpack and I like the swivel attachment from the ring to the clip.The clip itself is harder to use if you have hand strength issues but it also makes it so my hat doesn’t easily slip out of the clip. I’m also not using the clip as designed because the space between the plastic crimps is a little too narrow for my thick hat so instead I attach my hat where the clip flips up. I’m hoping with more use the clip gets a little easier to flip up but not so loose that my hat won’t stay in place.I thought the price was a bit on the high side but if it saves my hat from getting lost it was worth a try.

The video shows that hat brims go between the plastic grips. A thick brimmed hat was hard to load between the "teeth" but could be clipped under, although less secure. Either way, it was difficult to get the hat to release. I thought this was a good idea but now realize how much visual space your hat will take up on your purse or backpack. I don't have any hats that are fashionable enough to feature and combined with load and release difficulties, I won't be using these, even though they are definitely cute.

I hope the get a bit easier as I use them.CONCLUSION: - I like these Flower Hat Clips for holding my big ole hats! - I don't like how hard these clips are to operate. I got my finger pinched a few times, so 1 star off for that!
