Brilliant read. A good foundation for Aqeeda.

A very good and important book. If you are into Sufism and tassawuf, or would like to know a bit more about the importance of the name of Allah in certain Tassawuf groups, this book is a good read!

Having read The Book of Wisdom (Kitab al-H'ikam), I should have known better to seek out other writings by Shaykh Ibn Ataullah (r'a) sooner. While other Islamic Texts Society series books like Ninety Nine Names of Allah (by Imam Ghazali) provides a details of the 99 names of Allah, this book offers a contrasting insight relating to the Supreme Name, Allah and is meant to inspire the reader to act upon the given/acquired knowledge. I found this book to be must read for the development of aqeedah, something that helps to focus on the Real and an ever inspiring manual to act upon the knowledge of this beautiful name. Can't stress enough on how valuable this text is. Highly recommended.

A wonderful book for everyone who is interested in the spiritual journey.

i love the content of this book; the only thing i do not like is that the binding was put on backwards and upside down!
