We're proud to use clinically-studied Levagen® palmitoylethanolamide in Mirica®, which is among the purest PEA in the world. It is not micronized, and many of the encouraging studies on PEA use a non-micronized source.

Thanks for asking your question about Mirica's ingredients! Our PEA is derived from sustainably-sourced palm oil, and it is purified beyond 99.5%. At this point, it is no longer palm oil, and is truly simply PEA. Once an ingredient is purified to pharmaceutical-grade purity, it is labelled as the final ingredient, not as the source material.
