Sardines in olive oil 190g Ortiz

Q: What a rip off. I can get these for $ 2.99 why so much.

The fact that the sardines are in a glass bottle makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE in the world in taste. Once you go glass, it’s hard to go back to can. It’s the same with tuna. I don’t eat tuna from a can anymore.

Q: How many servings per jar? How many calories? Thanks.

The 7.5 oz jar I purchased has 5 sardines in it..there is no calorie count listed but it is packed in olive oil and usually the canned sardines are about 190 calories for each serving. More important is the high protein value and zero cholesterol...they are very tasty and the best we have found. They are the answer to my husband's pre-diabetic state...I serve them with a few of the Ortiz anchovies and add some balsamic vinegar. I can only find them thur Amazon and I have never been disappointed each of the 3 orders that have been fulfilled. I hope this is helpful.

Q: Are the a la antigua sardines and the original in oil the same? i thought the a la antigua were the spicy ones spanish style. what is the difference?
