Hard to find in the shops.
I mash these up, spread on a slice of toast, then put under the grill to brown. Simple, delicious comfort food.So glad Amazon sells it because my local supermarkets don't anymore.

Most delicious
My sister is addicted to them. She has two tins on toast each day. They are hard to obtain in shops and ai haven't been able to get fresh ones from the fishmongers for years. Keep on canning.

Bad quality . Not value for money .
Eating for lunch as a snack . Taste was not nice / they are in food bin now . You need to supply whole herring roes to offer for sale . Greatly disappointed last few times I’ve purchased.

John West soft roe not found in any of the national supermarkets - what on earth is happening?
This product was superb, just as soft and full of taste as always. I have tried to purchase this product in all of the national supermarkets without success. The hard tinned version, which I dislike with a passion, is available but not John West Soft Roes. I’d like to know why and which retail outlet stocks and sells them.Thank you. Stuart Richards
