Kleenex Ultra, 6772, Interfolded Hand Towels, 2 Ply, White, 30 Packs x 94 Sheets

Measuring 222 mm x 420mm these paper towels are much larger than those I am used to, which are around 222 mm square, so you're getting almost double the size of towel. These are also two-ply, but I can't say they are double the thickness, they seem to be only a little thicker overall than my regular towels. The big advantage of these towels I find is that one is sufficient to dry my hands, whereas with smaller towels I invariable need two. (This may not be all that much an advantage however unless everyone is willing to use just one towel, being creatures of habit those of us used to using two will have to make a conscious effort to manage with one!). Another bonus is that these are soft, softer than the single ply towels I have encountered.I do have one reservation though, used with my towel dispenser removing one towel leaves over half the next towel hanging down, obviously you want something easy to get hold of but . . . perhaps this is intentional but it does seem rather excessive. Maybe the fault is with my dispenser, although it works okay with other towels.

I was born and raised in Barrow in Furness, where there is a large Kimberley Clark factory. Maybe these were made in the factory. My father worked for their for over 18 years and so I am fully aware of the quality this company can produce. This towel is very good. It is highly absorbent, it does not disintegrate when wet and holds a great deal of water/moisture. They are packed in a way to be slotted slot into the dispensing boxes you find in a toilet. When you pull one, the lip from the other one comes out. What can I say, super absorbent, well made and I am happy to Highly Recommend them for a kitchen or bathroom.

These seem at first as though they’ll be too thin to be useful but they have excellent absorbency and don’t deteriorate even if used vigorously. They must however be used with the relevant wall dispenser because each is linked by perforation to the other, so you can’t leave a pile on the counter and pull one from the top – the whole lot will lift. Take note also of the dimensions given; they’re twice the length of some other towels.
