This replacement blade is not as sharp, it seems, as the original but the price vs buying a whole new unit is a no brainer.It blends sufficiently for me for all uses except for my smoothies due to the berry seeds not blending completely up as did original. No big deal for me, anyway.

The quality is not nearly as good as the original part. Thinner plastic and metal. The rubber gasket is even lower quality. The alternative is no repairs and having to buy a new blender. In that respect, it works and it saved my blender which I love. Yep it works. We shall see for how long. I'm a firm believer that I have a right to repair which is under fire by big corporations. Older appliances or less technology packed appliances last longer because either built-in obsolescence did not exist or its harder with lower tech models. So repairing saves money and headaches. Chances are, the older models with repairs will out last several newer modes over time. Keep that in mind. The rich get rich because they think this way.

I learned the hard way my old blender blade was cracked (liquid everywhere). I was going to throw the whole blender away when my husband inspected the blade and noticed the plastic was just cracked and suggested I check Amazon for a replacement. Lo and behold, here it is! Received quickly and works great. The rubber stopper is a little more flimsy than the original, but works just fine. It's good to know it can be replaced, though hopefully I won't need to for a while.

I almost threw out my blender, but checked on Amazon for replacement parts. So glad I did, cause this inexpensive part kept me from having to buy a brand new blender.

It does it's job and that's all I care. It has been a short period of time, since I bought it. So far so good.

The plastic material that houses the blade cracked. I was going to buy a new blender but choose to get a new blade instead (much, much cheaper) and it works just like the old one did but this ones not broken. Worth the money to try, a lot cheaper than a new blender.
