I should have returned it!

My washing machine recently stopped draining. I changed out my pleated filter with this one made for high volume liquid clean up and it fit my vacuum perfectly and kept any debris from entering the motor but allowed for full suction. Very pleased with performance. Highly recommend.

Even fits an old 4.25 Hp 12 gallon shop vac from the turn of the millenniumThere’s a plumbing project I’ve been procrastinating about getting started, in part because I’ll likely need my shop vac / wet-dry vac to suck up any overflows and right now it’s doing duty in the garage.Now with this twin pack of wet filters, I’ll be in business. I did find another VF7000 filter in the closet, used just once, to compare these with. The original has a beefier top - the rubbery part on these is much thinner and may be more prone to tearing if it’s screwed on too tight.Other than that, it works just fine. Can’t tell any difference between the one on hand and the new one, performance-wise. The new ones are a black foam compared to more of a dark grey on the older filter. Pretty sure that one is an actual Ridgid brand. And these are the same height and diameter so should fit any other vacuum that uses the VF range of filters. They didn’t come with a spare screw down tab or wingnut but I think those are available for separate purchase from other sellersPro tip for new and curious shop vac owners: Save your VF3000 and VF4000 filters for the dry stuff and get yourself one of these for the wet jobs. And regardless of which version you use with the wet stuff, after the job is done, take the filter out, give it a good rinse and let it dry out of the vacuum. Same for the vacuum container. I’m guessing you don’t really want to breed your own special batch of black mold, so yeah.

Product seems fine comparable to OEM filter.However, I ordered a 2 pack and only received 1 filter. The box even has the label for "2 pack" but only 1 filter inside. See pic attached.

Amazon, please REMOVE. Listing says that it is a 2pk, even in the product description. Only received 1.As other say, this is way overpriced for only 1 item.Many here have suffered the same issue.

My shop vac model isn't listed, but it fits my Rigid model WD14500 shop vac. I looked up a filter part number for one of the models listed as being a good fit for, and checked the user manual for my WD14500 vacuum, and they were the same, so I ordered these. They fit perfectly, and I'm glad to be able to get rid of that old one that's well past it's usefulness.If you haven't replaced one in your vacuum, you just pull the old one off. The white "button" in the middle/bottom of the filter will pull free of the old filter, and when you install the new one, you will need to press the flexible rubber bottom of the replacement filter over that button to secure it in place. That's all there is to it!This seems to be made of materials that will take a beating, not something that will tear apart in use.
