Not sure how long the finish will last, but the ring was perfect for my need. I wore it to a wedding and will wear in the future when I need a gold toned statement ring. I am storing it in the little felt bag it came with in hopes that it keeps it nicer for longer. I ordered a size 9 for my fat fingers and found it was a good fit.
