This micro-USB cable feels different than your typical cable, it's thicker and softer with a more rubber-like texture that bends easier. I didn't get it for that, I got it for the 90-degree angle connectors (or whatever you want to call it... the L-shaped design, or elbow design), but I like the feel of this cable. The only downside to its thickness is that it doesn't fit these magnetic clasp things I have, the ones where you clamp the thing around the cable and then you can attach that clamp to any magnetic-friendly surface to keep the cord out of the way. This isn't a big deal for me because I didn't intend on using it the places I use those magnetic clasps but I thought I should mention it in case that was something you were wanting to do.I probably don't have to explain the purpose of the elbow design since I'm sure most of us at one time or another has wished our USB cable didn't stick out so far in certain situations. For me, I wanted one for my laptop because the USB port is on the lower right side right where I use my mouse and when I use my regular cable I always end up bumping into it. Usually I use the USB port that's on the left side but when that port happens to already be in use then I don't have a choice. I've only tried it out for a few hours but so far this L-shaped design is working great for me. I haven't bumped into it once!I didn't do any speed tests or anything but it seems to work fine. It's just as fast as the other cables I have and seems to charge my Samsung Galaxy S5 at the same rate. The cable comes wrapped in a little Vecro-like strap, which is nice. I typically use cardboard toilet paper tubes to keep cords wrapped up but those don't really work on shorter cords like this one so I usually have to end up using a twist-tie, which I hate, so I really like that they provided a Velcro strap. And the strap is completely covered in the Velcro-like connectors, hooks on one side and loops on the other, not just at the end like on some Velcro straps.So far this seems to be a pretty nice micro-USB cable, with its L-shaped ends and its oddly satisfying flexible rubber cord. I have had the charger for almost a week and have had no issues so far. The L shape makes it really convenient to use my phone while it charges without worrying about the integrity of the cord. The structure and material of it is pretty sturdy and I dont see it breaking or shifting in the foreseeable future, but if it does break or get damaged I will likely update my review. My one gripe is that i ordered the white but recieved black. This doesnt affect the quality of the cord so I am still content with my purchase but I am a little dissapointed.

Absolutely LOVE this cord. I am disabled and spend a bit of time playing/reading on my phone each day.... Inevitably my cords get bent at plug and quit working. This has resolved the problem perfectly!! The cord is thick and of good quality as well.

Next level cables, priced in the sweet spot, never seen my phone charge this fast, cable is not involved in the pulling/pushing motion of connecting/disconnecting, fast data rate, resists tangling, quality feel is next level, I tell my friends I have them custom made so they don't get ideas about getting them. BAAAAAAAMMMMM!!!
