Had I listened to some of the reviews I never would have purchased this! So glad I didn't. My kitten loves this. It is sturdy, she is on it all the time. She sleeps on it, watches out the window, uses the scratch posts, and leaves my furniture alone. She only weighs 4 pound now, but I am sure that it will hold her when she is fully grown. I put it on a small table in front of the window and made two pieces of duct tape into double sided tape to keep it from sliding and it is her favorite place in the house. The string on the pom pom was very flimsy and broke right away, however I just put a heavier piece of string on it and stapled it (heavy duty staple) to the platform. I am totally pleased with this product. I am attaching 2 photos to give you an idea of the size.

i have an old, big-boned, 13 lb cat. she uses this tower often, it has held up well to months of scratching. it isnt too high for her to jump up or down from. she is a little big for it but it also must be comfortable because she will curl up on it and it holds her weight well. it is easy to assemble, the screws are holding up well and in my opinion it looks nice.

Lasted all of a month before the post started to wobble then snapped. My cat is only 6 months old, so not fully grown yet and the platform just didn’t hold up. However, the only reason I still give it three stars is thats it still serves its purpose and has use even without the post and platform because of the scratching arch on the base.

The tall sitting platform broke really fast. With that gone the cats still love it. Probably better without it honestly. Would give a lower rating because of how fast it broke but it is better after it happened.

Our cats went nuts for this thing. Not so much the little tower attached to it, but the arch is absolutely wonderful. The base piece of the arch under the material is so sturdy, that when the sisal mat was torn to bits by our cats I simply got some sisal rope and hot glued it on, wrapping it around to refurbish it. I used our staple gun to add stability, but I don't think that's crucial.In any case, we've loved it so much that I recently got another one. I had planned to disassemble it and throw it out, but upon removing the shredded sisal I found it could be restored once again. And now, while they use that one, I can refurbish the old one and it can be used again. (And to be honest, I'll probably take that sisal mat off as soon as I have enough rope to replace it.TL;DR:Great item. Good price, I think. Can last years with minimal maintenance.

I purchased two of these for my rescue kittens. While assembling the first one, the screw to connect the top platform to the post popped off. There is no way to repair this and the structure can not be assembled without it so I requested a refund. I assembled the second one and put it in the playpen with my very young kittens. They absolutely loved it. After less than a month of use, the screw on this one popped off as well and the top platform tumbled down along with my two-month old kitten. The scratching post was lightly used by kittens weighing no more than two pounds. I can't imagine how quickly this product would break with a larger cat using it!!! Such poor quality is inexcusable, especially when it can cause harm to a pet. Unfortunately, this incident happened 9 days after the 30 day return period so I can not get a refund. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you care about your cats, be careful to only buy top quality products that don't pose harm to your beloved pets!

I bought this very affordable, cat approved and sturdy for the size, perch which is the 3rd one to be in our home (we already have a round one with an oval one side by side in our living room, which our sweet And chunky. Adult cat, Callie, spreads out on...)Placed at the foot of our bed for her to sleep on at night. She currently sleeps on a stack of 3 storage bins, with cushy towl and flannel topper.This is TOO SHORT, to fill our request.It is shorter than the other 2 we have.She is too big for it (I thought the bed part was oval.)I NEED TO RETURN IT but, the 30 day return window is closed, Although I didn't open it up and assemble until about 2 weeks after it arrived, due to knee replacement surgery, I am a senior citizen.CAN I EXCHANGE FOR A TALLER AND OR OVAL ONE? THANK YOU.

The media could not be loaded.  My Zoe loves it! Arrived quickly and exactly as pictured. This is small enough not to be offense looking in my condo but enough for my kitten to enjoy scratching and playing. Once she out-grows it, I’ll get a larger one but for this price it’s perfect for now. I wish they made them for cats because the design is so cute! I purchased the roller one from same company so she has a little play station and those little nails have lots to scratch and yup, its saving my furniture and my legs ;) Ahh, the energy of a kitten - Love It!!

Wir suchten für unseren Kater einen kleinen Kratzbaum um seine krallen zu wetzen und das er sich ablegen kann.Wurde von ihm sofort super angenommen, Qualität was wir bisher nach einigen Tagen beurteilen können ist gut. Hält den Kater auch gut aus, der doch ein paar Kilos wiegt ;)
