The design is great for slowing down our pup when eating! It is good quality with suction cups on the bottom to hold it firmly in the bowl. Would definitely recommend!

Our Belgian Malinois wolfs down his food so fast that he sometimes pukes. We bought these to slow him down and they fit in any size bowl. It actually works to slow him down much better than the stainless slow feed bowl we previously purchased. I wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher without heated dry and they come out squeaky clean.

Like that you can use it in different size bowls. It really has help my dogs eat more slowly.

This insert works wonderfully! I needed some sort of slow feeder for my dog who aspirated her food in 5 seconds flats. I looked into different bowls, but many were plastic, therefore lightweight for my not-so-delicate pup, and looked difficult to clean. Then this showed up in my Vine items for pets, and I decided to order it to test and review it because it seemed like a good alternative. I am glad I did!It is made of silicon and has suction cups on the bottom that adheres very well to the metal bowl I have, my dog has been unable to pull it out and not for lack of trying. It's also very sturdy and she hasn't chewed it either. She now takes a longer time with her food since she has to get the ones that are in every nook and crany. After she's finished I remove it, clean it and let it dry. I like the ability to remove it for cleaning, as I can clean it all around, very easy to do too.I am able to use my existing food bowl, which is on the smallish side. While the insert has flaps that can be cut to fit the bowl, I didn't need to cut it. I have ordered a second one for my other dog, because he now finishes faster than his sister and looks at me wondering why I gave her so much food that she's still eating when he's done LOLI really recommend this slow feeder insert, it works and it's very easy to use and clean. I have only tried with dry food, though, cannot comment on how it works for wet food.

This product has been superb for helping Our 25 lb dog to not gulp Her food!She is A Rescue and We wonder if She had to eat FAST in Her prior life.It’s been excellent for Her as She relaxes in Her new home.It’s easy to clean and doesn’t seem to take on odors from the food.All in all this is a good product and recommended for dogs that gulp.

Does not truly fit my small dogs bowl and food was getting under it so each feeding we had to remove it so my dog could get all the food. The suction cups did not really stick due to being to big for bowl.

I purchased this because my puppy would eat so fast and then would get the hiccups.I didnt realize that because he was eating so quickly is the reason he would start hiccuping.Since we have been using this slow feeder, he has slowed down with eating and hasn’t had the hiccups.All the little suction cups work amazing well and it doesn’t move around once you press it in place.It cleans up very easily as well.I am happy that I decided to purchase this.
