I am so happy to say the just hot 1/1/1/1 true color hood has amazing optical clarity and is super light. Head band adjusts not only to tighten on your head but also front to back to adjust the distance between your eyes and the lense.

I bought this helmet last week and got a nice deal from Amazon.I used it for about 16 hours now and really like the helmet, the clarity, and how well it responds to changing the settings. Nothing to complain about here.What I have to complain about is the headgear, it's bad. the overhead strap is always loose, you can't really tighten it. I taped it in place. the head strap is sturdy, too sturdy at times, and is either too tight or too loose.The worst part by far is when you lift up the helmet. You can only lift it about 60-70 degrees, then it hits the stops and it won't stay open, no matter how tight the adjustment screws are.I tried for hours to get it to fit and to stay fully open. I had no success.In addition, the helmet came with batteries. The batteries were CR2045, however the helmet needs CR2032. So why were the wrong batteries in the package?I like the gloves, they are light and soft and easy to wear. However, of course, they are not made of a high quality, but pretty decent.I will keep the helmet as a spare or give it to anybody watching me welding.

I weld every day all day for a living. Been doing it since 2008 and have7 welding certs in my pocket. Having just had my viking 3350 stolen i needed a new hood. Researched the hell out hoods that i could afford and on paper the just hot hood claimed to be just as good as the several hundred dollar viking 3350 i had just lost but for less than 1/3 the price. I had the hood delivered right to my work the next day.i was ready to be disappointed but that was not be. I am so happy to say the just hot 1/1/1/1 true color hood has amazing optical clarity and is super light. Head band adjusts not only to tighten on your head but also front to back to adjust the distance between your eyes and the lense. Now i just want to see how long it lasts. TODAY I AM A HAPPY MAN. THIS WELDING HOOD IS SO WORTH THE MONEY.GONNA BUY ANOTHER COME PAYDAY SO I HAVE A BACK UP IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.

Nice hood and very comfortable you can’t beat the price highly recommend!

I bought this welding helmet less than a month, and use it for two weeks, and the clip that hold the lens broke, with no drop, hit or something like that. To fragile!!!!I contact the seller asking about the possibility to send me a new one, once it had only been used for two weeks. He said that it would be impossible!

The clarity of the lens surprised me so I got another one for my coworker.

I have used it several times and it works well..
