Set to only level 2, I've been able to stay cosy and warm without using the central heating at all. I simply put this blanker under me on the chair with another soft blanket on top and my body is cocooned in a comforting warmth. The blanket is incredibly energy-efficient, costing pennies to run, which is a major plus for me. With this blanket, I'm not only staying warm but also saving money on my energy bills.

this product comes inside of a cardboard box, inside the box you'll find just the blanket, it uses a connected UK Wired plug.this product comes folded, it's extremely easy to open and use, you simply plug this product into an outlet, use the attached controller to turn the product on, turn the heat up/down. there are small coils inside of the blanket that heat up, if I were you, don't press down on the small coils as you might accidently burn yourself.I feel that heat level 1/2 are the best, it isn't necessary to put it up any hotter unless you live in an extremely cold climate.The blanket doesn't cover you from head to toe, which is a little frustrating but if you're using this in combination with a normal blanket, this issue should be minimal.the one thing that I was frustrated about was the plug isn't detachable, which means you have to lug around a really big wire (connected to the blanket), this again won't be an issue if you're using this blanket under your other mattress protector.overall, I think this product is a good one, and is definitely worth it.

There are no complicated controls on this heated blanket. It heats up quickly and makes the bed cosy. I switch it on when I go upstairs to bed and by the time I have faffed about and got ready it is nice and warm. I only need to set it for one hour because I am asleep by then. Lovely colour too.

This is soft high quality blanket. It competes with the higher end blankets. Highly recommend

This throw was advertised and sold as being 200 x 150. Its actual dimensions are 170 x 140. So you're being charged for a larger throw, but not actually getting what you paid for! It's a really nice throw with great functionality, but clearly not as advertised! Seller is also very unhelpful.

This is a must have for these cold winter days, it's much cheaper and efficient than turning the heating on, especially since it costs so much.In the long run it's not a replacement to normal heating or very economical, but for the short term it certainly is much better, as it will heat up just what it needs to for however long i need it to, usually just an hour or so is enough.Out of the package you get the blanket, it comes with a remote control and a wall plug, the wire is plenty long around 2m or so, the blanket is also surprisingly large and will cover almost my entire bed, it is a bit weighty and you have to be careful so it doesn't fold too harshly as to not bend any of the heating elements.It takes around 2 minutes for it to heat up fully, you can adjust the temperature and can set up timers so it turns off after an hour or up to 8 hours later, on the highest setting it does get really hot, so i tend to use it more on medium, i did notice that the middle of the blanket heats up a lot more than the edges for some reason and only one side gets hot, the top is actually only warm to the touch.Overall though, i really can't live without it now, beats having the heating on all the time when just an hour will last much longer.
