Only a few days but seems to be great quality and works just as I hoped. Extremely versital with placement throughout the vehicle.A few weeks in and now I own two. Great product. Holds my IPhone 7plus with no problem.

Addendum: seller has contacted me 3 time since this review first went up asking me to delete it and offering a refund. As of today (9/6) they have yet to refund anything. Buyer beware!This thing couldn’t hold an iPhone X with a super light case on it let alone a 3kg anything. I didn’t even need to turn a corner let alone hit a numb before the phone started sliding off the mount and onto the floor of my car. Completely useless.

So far, this item works great. This item holds my iPhone 8 plus quite stable and there is very minimal shaking on the phone for clear view of the phone screen. The magnetism does not affect the performance of my iPhone at all. This result may vary for different phones. The metal material is a quite solid and sturdy design. However, as an Industrial Designer, the idea of using adhesive to attach the base of the mount to an area on your dashboard just does not convince me too well. From experience, I know that most adhesives will eventually loosen over time, especially if heat is applied. Remember, this item will be sitting in your car, which will get quite hot throughout the daytime. What do you suppose that heat will do to the adhesive over time...no, that wasn't a question. I will update my review after I see failure of the adhesive.

I really didn’t think this thing would work as I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a battery case, so needless to say it has some heft to it. But I was totally wrong! This little monster is strong and small enough to fit anywhere not just on top of the dash. Mine fit next to my vents. You have to stick a little metal plate to the back of your phone but I’ve seen decorative ones online. I highly recommend!

I had to downgrade my phone's case because the last phone holder I used was too weak. I was about to do the same when I got my new phone but decided to try this phone holder. As advertised, it holds my Galaxy 9+ with a case, no problem. The holder looks sharp and the phone stays put even when I hit a bump. It took no time at all to set up and it even came with extra M3 tape, which I needed because I screwed the first one up. What a good product!

I bought this in the hopes of being able to mount my smartphone somewhere in my SUV that would give me the versatility to use it hands free as well as still use it for navigating and while also giving me the ability to still access it for surfing thru my various playlist; The VAVA magnetic phone holder does EXACTLY that!It's a very simple and basic concept; a powerful round magnetic placed inside of a small receiver that affords great latitude for set-up and proper viewing angles in your vehicle.As you can see from the photos I have mine installed on my dash. I also purchased an additional slim KuGi Nokia 7.1 phone case that I attached the included VAVA magnetic disks to so that the case can remain in my vehicle. I have the ability to position the case in either a portrait or landscape configuration.The VAVA holder/magnet is both very stable and very strong!!! I've already used it on numerous 3,4 and 7 hour road trips and it doesn't budge ONE BIT!!!:-)The instructions were very easy to understand and installation is a breeze. Just use the included alcohol wipes to clean the area the base is to be installed on and VOILA! that simple and you're up and running.I have no doubt I'll get many years of practical and reliable use out of this product:-) Thx VAVA

I’m quite impressed with the vava phone holder. It’s sturdy and swivels nicely. The phone platform is magnetic and detaches from the base ball. It held my iPhone 7 in my Jeep on hilly roads nicely. Came with 1 additional adhesive pad, 2 alcohol wipes and 2 adhesive plates and alcohol pads for the phone. I would suggest VAVA increase the magnet strength on the side that attaches to the phone.

This product did not last 3 months. I wanted a spot for my wife to safely and conveniently place her phone on the dashboard of her suv. The magnet itself is too strong. The problem is the adhesive is not strong enough to withstand the daily action of pulling the phone off the magnet ... the adhesive pulled right off.Yes, yes.. the dashboard was cleaned and prepared properly for the adhesive. This is just a poorly designed product.
