Quality Pet Products Hexaquarium 3 Fish Starter Kit

So here's how it goes....on a bank holiday Monday my 12 year old daughter comes home from the local fair, bursts through the door shouting, "Dadi, look what I won!! I've called him 'Blub'".....and there in her hand was a plastic bag containing a goldfish!! Once I picked my jaw up from the floor, my first thought was, "how the hell are we going to look after it???". Needless to say, Blub's first home was a glass vase usually used for cut flowers...and so that night I set about the internet thinking well, if we're going to look after Blub, he might as well have a decent home!I have no experience of looking after any kind of fish (other than those that come with chips!), and so spent several hours looking for a start-up kit that a complete novice could set up and use for however long Blub would survive.I came across this set and thought that it had everything I would need. I ordered it that night.It arrived 3 days later - a day before the delivery date - and within an hour Blub was swimming in his new home - and damn happy he appeared to be!!I have since done partial and full water changes easily. The filter is easy to take apart and clean and the light and decorations top it off.To an experienced fish people I can imagine this being very basic, but for a first timer like me I would thoroughly recommend this product.

This fish tank arrived quickly. It was obviously old stock and the sticky tape that held the fish tank in place in the packaging was impossible to get off. This spoils the look of the tank as it is sticky and the tank appeared to be scratched as it is plastic. I am, however, using the tank but was very disappointed with the state of it.
